A foot injury limited Hayward during the offseason program, but it was never believed to be an overly serious issue. With Tramon Williams off to Cleveland, Hayward is a heavy favorite to fill the starting cornerback spot across from Sam Shields. Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins also figure to compete for snaps, but Randall will likely serve as the nickelback, and Rollins may just provide depth as a rookie.

Hayward said Thursday that he's been limited by a foot injury throughout the offseason, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.

The cornerback would not reveal whether he underwent offseason surgery, but he confirmed that he'll be ready for the start of training camp, so it doesn't look like a major concern for Green Bay.
