Dalembert did not practice Friday due to swelling in his left knee, Dwain Price of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
The issue doesn't appear to be anything serious, but it may be a byproduct of Dalembert showing up to camp out of shape. The veteran will compete with Zaza Pachulia and JaVale McGee for the starting center spot this season.

Dalembert was criticized by coach Rick Carlisle for his lack of conditioning, Tim MacMahon of ESPN reports.
Dalembert showing up to camp out of shape is not exactly unexpected, but it's a disappointing development for a player who has a chance to start at center for Dallas this season. After the Mavs lost out on DeAndre Jordan, they brought in Dalembert and Zaza Pachulia to solidify the position. Neither player inspires a ton of hope, but both players could have fantasy value, provided their respective minutes loads allow it.
Sat Jul 25 201514:14Dalembert has agreed on one-year deal with Mavericks
Dalembert has agreed on a one-year deal with the Mavericks, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports.
This is probably a good move for Dallas, as their big man rotation seemed a little thin due to the DeAndre Jordam fiasco. The 34-year-old figures to back up Zaza Pachulia at center and receive somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 minutes per game.

Tue Jan 6 201501:16Dalembert (ankle) waived by Knicks on Monday
Dalembert (ankle) was waived by the Knicks on Monday, ESPN.com reports.
Prior to missing the Knicks' last four games due to a sprained ankle, Dalembert was a regular in the frontcourt rotation, averaging four points (on 44 percent shooting), 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 0.9 assists in 17 minutes. The 33-year-old is clearly entering the twilight of his career, but there's no question that he'll find a home on the open market, especially due to his continued defensive presence.
Sun Jan 4 201518:08Dalembert (ankle) will play Sunday against Bucks
Dalembert (ankle) will play Sunday against the Bucks.
Initially considered questionable after missing the last three games with a sprained right ankle, Dalembert will return to action Sunday. He'll come off the bench, as Cole Aldrich makes another start alongside Quincy Acy. Playing just 15.6 minutes per game in the month of December, Dalembert is not much of a fantasy consideration in most formats.

Dalembert will miss Friday's game as he continues to be bothered by a sprained right ankle.
Cole Aldrich will get the start at center, and should see significant minutes. Dalembert should be considered day-to-day, although this will mark the third straight game he has missed with the injury.

Dalembert (ankle) will likely sit out Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Chris Herring of the Wall Street Journal reports.
If he sits, it will be the second straight absence for Dalembert, who injured is ankle Saturday in Sacramento. The fact that he's yet to officially be ruled out is a positive sign, however, and the center isn't likely to miss a significant chunk of time.
Sun Dec 28 201420:00Samuel Dalembert: (Ankle) Will Sit Out Sunday
Dalembert (ankle) is officially listed as out for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers, the Oregonian reports.
Dalmebert suffered the injury during Saturday's game, and although his X-rays came back negative, the soreness will keep him out of Sunday's matchup. With Dalembert sitting out, Cole Aldrich will take his spot in the starting lineup at center. Consider him questionable for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Sun Dec 28 201414:25Dalembert (ankle) questionable for Sunday's matchup with Blazers
Dalembert (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Blazers, Newsday's Al Lannazzone reports.
Dalmbert suffered the ankle injury in Saturday's loss, and despite the fact that X-rays came back negative, his status for Sunday remains cloudy. If he's unable to go, look for Cole Aldrich to draw the start.
Sun Dec 28 201402:18Dalembert sprained ankle in Knicks' overtime loss Saturday
Dalembert sprained his ankle in the Knicks' overtime loss Saturday, but X-rays have come back negative, Al Iannazzone reports.
If Dalembert misses Sunday's game, Cole Aldrich and Jason Smith would be the biggest beneficiaries, with Aldrich already starting over Dalembert and worth a look on the last day of head-to-head matchups. Dalembert has been too inconsistent this season to make him valuable in fantasy leagues.

Dalembert started at center for the Knicks on Thursday, but mustered just two points and four rebounds in 12 minutes while turning the ball over twice and picking up two fouls early on.
This production wasn't too far off Dalembert's pace. He's averaging 15.7 minutes this month and he's shooting 43.9 percent. Thursday, Jason Smith and Cole Aldrich both had more playing time than Dalembert, but there's not any centers on the Knicks that fantasy owners should feel great using.

Dalembert will return to the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Wizards.
He'll displace Quincy Acy, who moves to the bench in a last-minute lineup switch for coach Derek Fisher. Dalembert's advancing age makes it unlikely that he'll play more than 20-to-25 minutes on a given night, while seeing limited involvement on the offensive end for the Knicks.

Dalembert was ejected from Sunday's game against the Raptors after elbowing Jonas Valanciunas in the face, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
Dalembert was issued a flagrant-2 and ejected in the third quarter. He scored two points and grabbed two rebounds in 14 minutes.
Fri Dec 5 201423:49Dalembert returned to starting lineup Friday against Hornets
Dalembert returned to the starting lineup Friday against the Hornets. He scored six points (3-6 FG)and added eight rebounds and two blocks in 21 minutes.
The move out of, and back to, the starting lineup had no meaningful impact on Delambert's total workload. Friday represents a pretty standard stat line for Delambert - a bunch of rebounds, a block or two, and a single-digit scoring. While his per-minute production is excellent, his fantasy ceiling is pretty low. The 33-year-old is on his sixth team in six seasons, and not one of those six coaching staffs felt Delambert could handle more than about 25 minutes per game.

Dalembert will move back into the starting lineup at center Friday against the Hornets.
Dalembert came off the bench for 18 minutes Thursday, although he only averages 17.9 minutes per game this season as it is. He'll likely see around the same amount of minutes as a starter against the Hornets on Friday.

Dalembert came off the bench for 18 minutes against the Cavaliers on Thursday but managed to register six points, nine rebounds, and two steals during his time on the court.
Dalembert was moved to the bench Thursday, getting was replaced by Quincy Acy in the starting five, with Amar'e Stoudemire shifting down to center. Unfortunately for Dalembert, both Acy and Stoudemire had solid performances, so Dalembert might be held to a role off the bench moving forward. Although, he played his normal compliment of minutes Thursday, so his actual value may not take a hit.
