The Titans have traded Levitre to the Falcons for a sixth-round draft pick in 2016, plus a future conditional pick, the Tennessean reports.
Levitre, who had lost his starting spot at left guard to Byron Bell, should move into a starting role for the Falcons, where his experience working in zone blocking schemes should prove to be an asset to the team's offensive line.
Sun Aug 3 201415:43Levitre (appendix) returned to practice Sunday
Levitre (appendix) returned to practice Sunday, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports.
In his absence, rookie tackle Taylor Lewan had an opportunity to work with the starters in Levitre's place, but now that he is back on the field, Levitre is back on track to cement his role as the Titans' starting left guard.
Thu Jul 24 201418:06Titans' Levitre recovering from appendectomy
Titans LG Andy Levitre underwent an appendectomy on Thursday, and will be sidelined two weeks.
In a vacuum, it's a minor issue, but it sets Levitre further behind after he missed the Titans' entire offseason program as he recovered from hip surgery. He'll be up against it to get in shape for Week 1. That being said, Levitre has yet to miss a game since being the No. 51 overall pick of the 2009 draft. He should be ready for the opener.

Tue May 27 201417:37Levitre limited to individual drills in OTAs
Titans LG Andy Levitre (hip surgery) has been limited to individual drills in OTAs.
Injury is wiping out Levitre's offseason for the second time in as many years as a Titan, but he expects to be 100 percent for Week 1. Levitre started all 16 games a season ago, turning in a solid first year in Tennessee.

Tue Apr 29 201420:03Titans targeting late May for Andy Levitre
Titans LG Andy Levitre (hip surgery) and C Brian Schwenke (ankle scope) are expected to resume practicing by late May.
Levitre and Schwenke are sitting out this week's voluntary workouts, but are both progressing on schedule. They'll be 100 percent well ahead of training camp.

Thu Apr 24 201415:07Titans missing three players for OTAs
Titans LG Andy Levitre (hip surgery), C Brian Schwenke (ankle scope) and SLB Akeem Ayers (knee surgery) will not participate in next week's OTAs.
It's the first we've head of Levitre since he underwent a "minor" clean-up procedure in January. There's been nothing to suggest he won't be ready for training camp, however. Schwenke should be ready to go some time next month, while Ayers' timeline is unknown.

Thu Jan 2 201412:11Andy Levitre needs clean up on hip
Titans LG Andy Levitre will have a minor clean-up procedure on his hip.
It sounds like a scope, meaning Levitre should be healthy long before 2014 training camp. The $46 million acquisition was very solid in his first year as a Titan, playing just about every snap in all 16 games and shining as a run blocker.

Fri Jul 26 201315:10Andy Levitre practices to open Titans camp
Titans LG Andre Levitre practiced with the starters on the first day of training camp.
Levitre endured knee soreness following a scope throughout the spring. He admits he's not a full-go yet, but avoided the active/PUP list. Levitre signed a six-year, $46.8 million contract in the offseason that made him the league's fourth highest paid guard, behind only Carl Nicks, Logan Mankins, and Jahri Evans.

Tue Jun 18 201315:05Levitre limited to ind. drills in minicamp
Titans LG Andy Levitre (knee soreness) will be limited to individual drills in minicamp.
As will RT David Stewart (broken leg). The Titans' meal ticket road paver hasn't gotten in any team reps since signing his six-year, $46.8 million deal, and is questionable for the beginning of training camp. The Titans' entire offseason "plan" will go up in smoke if Levitre isn't ready for Week 1, but there's been nothing to suggest that will be the case.

Tue Jun 11 201314:09Levitre (knee) resumes practicing Tuesday
Titans LG Andy Levitre (knee soreness) resumed individual work in minicamp on Tuesday.
It was his first practice of any kind in a Titans uniform. The key will be returning to team drills, but it's a promising sign ahead of training camp. Levitre has been dealing with soreness in his right knee, which he had scoped in January. It would be a disaster for Tennessee if Levitre wasn't ready for Week 1, so he figures to be brought along slowly in camp.

Tue Jun 4 201314:16Levitre may resume individual work next week
Titans LG Andy Levitre (knee soreness) could resume "light individual work" next week.
Levitre is dealing with soreness in his right knee, which he had scoped in January. It would be a worrisome sign for the Titans if a player they gave a six-year, $46.8 million deal on the opening day of free agency isn't ready for training camp, but for now his absence appears mostly precautionary. Chris Johnson's 2013 fate could rely on the health of his new left guard.

Sun Jun 2 201314:32Titans $47M guard Levitre battling knee woes
Titans LG Andy Levitre is battling lingering soreness in his surgically repaired right knee.
Levitre had the right knee scoped in January. He had his left knee scoped during the 2011 season. Levitre, whom Tennessee made one of the NFL's highest paid guards, admits his latest recovery is going "a little bit slower than I thought." Selfishly, we hope Levitre recovers soon so that the Titans' line can play at full strength, leaving Chris Johnson fresh out of excuses for not running hard.

Tue Mar 12 201315:49Report: Titans expected to land Andy Levitre
According to ProFootballTalk.com, the Titans are expected to sign free agent OG Andy Levitre.
Top beat writer Jim Wyatt is also hearing similar news. It's a massive coup for the Titans, who were desperate to improve the interior of their line following the failed Steve Hutchinson experiment. Levitre is the best guard available and one of the game's premier pass-blockers. Expect the financials to be gargantuan.

Tue Mar 12 201312:40Add Bears to Andy Levitre's suitor list
A source tells the Sun-Times that the Bears are interested in free agent OG Andy Levitre.
Levitre graded out as the NFL's best pass-blocking guard last season, is just 26 years old and can play on both sides of the center. With the Titans, Bills, Broncos and Colts all reportedly interested, the Bears are going to have a hard time making a competitive offer here. Brandon Moore could be a fallback option.

Mon Mar 11 201308:41Titans to 'go hard' after Andy Levitre
SI's Peter King confirms the Titans are expected to "go hard" after OG Andy Levitre in the opening hours of free agency.
The Nashville Tennessean first reported the Titans' interest last week. Levitre would be a major coup for one of the league's worst interior lines, but he's a better pass blocker than run blocker. That won't be music to Chris Johnson's ears, who's routinely blamed his offensive line for his recent struggles. Regardless, Levitre would be a sizable upgrade on Steve Hutchinson.

Sat Mar 9 201319:50Bolts 'expressed interest' in Andy Levitre
The Chargers have "expressed interest" in free agent OG Andy Levitre.
It's an indication the Bolts don't expect to re-sign Louis Vasquez, but Levitre would be almost as expensive, if not more so. If their prices are the same or similar, it would be puzzling for the Chargers to go with Levitre over a known commodity in Vasquez. In addition to the Bolts, Levitre has been linked to the Titans and Bears.

Sat Mar 9 201300:24Titans targeting Andy Levitre
The Nashville Tennessean's Jim Wyatt believes it's "even money" Titans GM Ruston Webster's first call at midnight Saturday was to the player rep for free agent OG Andy Levitre.
It certainly sounds like Levitre is the Titans' top free-agent target. Annually desperate for interior offensive line help, Tennessee could shore up a weakness by replacing Steve Hutchinson at left guard with Levitre. It's a bit surprising that Hutchinson and C Eugene Amano haven't been released yet.

Fri Mar 8 201316:57Bears expected to be in running for Levitre
The Chicago Sun Times reports that the Bears are expected to be involved in the bidding for free agent OG Andy Levitre.
Levitre, 27 in May, has now been linked to Chicago and Tennessee, with Detroit also floated as a less likely suitor. He'd be a great addition to a Bears line that has experienced interior woes several seasons running. Bears GM Phil Emery may target Levitre first, and treat Brandon Moore as a fallback option.
