Green caught all five of the passes thrown his way for 50 yards in Monday night's loss against the Steelers.
This game marked the return of Antonio Gates who immediately lead the team with nine receptions and two touchdowns, so a drop off was expected for Green. Still, the five catches is something of a pleasant surprise because it shows that he will still be involved in the offense moving forward, even if it is in a slightly lesser capacity. With Philip Rivers always spreading the ball around efficiently in a pass-heavy offense, there could still be some big games ahead for Green.

Green (concussion) grabbed four of six targets for 53 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's 30-27 win over the Browns.
Green sat out Week 3's loss at Minnesota, but returned with a bang Sunday, catching his second touchdown of the season. While it's good news that Green was able to overcome his head injury, keep in mind that Antonio Gates will return from his four-game suspension next week against Pittsburgh.
Sun Oct 4 201514:43Ladarius Green: (Concussion) Active Sunday
Green (concussion) is listed as active Sunday versus the Browns, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Green managed a full practice Friday, which forecast passage through the concussion protocol after only one DNP. Active status has confirmed that fact, but it remains to be seen how much the tight end will be utilized in Week 4. In the first two games of the season, he was targeted six times on both occasions, hauling in 10 for 121 yards and one touchdown.

Green (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns despite being listed as a full practice participant Friday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
That the Chargers list Green as practicing fully Friday is a positive indicator, but the questionable designation suggests that the tight end may have a hurdle or so to overcome before the team signs off on him suiting up for Sunday's 4:05 ET kickoff. Next up for the Chargers' TE targets in the event that Green is limited or out this weekend is John Phillips. With his concussion issues, plus the Week 5 return of Antonio Gates now looming, Green's window of fantasy opportunity appears to be closing quickly.
Thu Oct 1 201516:55Green (concussion) limited at practice again Thursday
Green (concussion) was limited at practice again Thursday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
While Green has turned in back-to-back limited practice sessions this week, given that he suffered two concussions last month, his status will be worth monitoring closely in advance of Sunday's game against the Browns. Next up for the Chargers' TE targets in the event that Green remains out this weekend is John Phillips.
Wed Sep 30 201517:30Green (concussion) limited in practice Wednesday
Green (concussion) was limited in practice Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
That Green is practicing is a good sign, plus the fact that the Chargers waived fellow tight end Kyle Miller on Tuesday, would appear to bode well for his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Browns.

Green (concussion) is officially inactive for Sunday's game at Minnesota.
John Phillips, Kyle Miller, and David Johnson are the only tight ends available, as Antonio Gates continues a four-game suspension, and none of that trio has even received a target so far in 2015, so predicting who will be the most involved is a bit of a crap shoot. For what it's worth, Phillips is listed next on the depth chart.

Green (concussion) said Friday that he is still experiencing headaches, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
He was diagnosed with a concussion after Sunday's loss in Cincinnati, his second concussion of the month and third in less than a calendar year. While Green was able to participate on a limit basis in all three practices this week and is listed as questionable against Minnesota, the nature of the injury and fact that he's still experiencing headaches make him a risky bet to be active Sunday.

Green (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
After being limited at practice all week, Green is truly iffy for Week 3, considering that he has been concussed twice this month. Fortunately, for those considering the Chargers' tight end this weekend, the Chargers kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday.
Thu Sep 24 201515:29Green (concussion) spotted at practice Thursday
Green (concussion) was spotted at practice Thursday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Green, who was a limited participant Wednesday, continues to work his way through the league's concussion protocol, but given that this is his second concussion of the month, we'd expect the Chargers to err on the side of caution with the tight end as Sunday's game against the Vikings approaches.
Wed Sep 23 201517:33Ladarius Green: Dealing With Another Concussion
Green was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a concussion, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Green evidently noted concussion-like symptoms Tuesday and given that this is his second concussion of the month, we'd expect the Chargers to proceed very cautiously here. For now, consider the tight end very iffy for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

Green hauled in five receptions for 47 yards in Sunday's loss to Cincinnati.
Green caught five passes on six targets for the second consecutive week, clearly acting as the primary beneficiary of Antonio Gates' suspension. Gates, long one of Philip Rivers' favorite targets, is out for another two games, and it will be interesting to see whether Green is able to keep this pace upon the veteran's return.

Green (concussion) had five receptions on six targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-28 win over Detroit.
Green took advantage of Antonio Gates' absence, posting one of the best games of his career. Gates (suspension) will also miss the next three games, so Green could continue to be a nice option for those in deep leagues or those that start two tight ends.

Green (concussion) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Lions, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Per the report, Green has been cleared for contact, thus affording him the opportunity to suit up Sunday for the Chargers, who will be without the services of fellow tight end Antonio Gates (suspension) for the first four weeks of the season.

Green (concussion) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's season opener against the Lions.
Green was listed as a full practice participant Friday, though Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune notes that the tight end has yet to be cleared for contact at this stage. The Chargers kick off at 4:05 ET this Sunday and it may not be until the team's inactives are released that his Week 1 status is confirmed.
Fri Sep 11 201514:55Green (concussion) spotted at practice Friday
Green (concussion) was spotted at practice Friday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
The report notes that Green was running routes and catching passes on Friday, while suggesting that the tight end didn't appear limited during the media access portion of practice. That said, we'll have to see how the Chargers officially report both Green's participation level, as well as his official Week 1 injury designation later Friday.
Thu Sep 10 201519:27Ladarius Green: Diagnosed With Concussion
Green (head) has been diagnosed with a concussion, ESPN.com reports.
Green suffered the concussion during Wednesday's practice, giving him just four days to recover for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Lions. The Chargers re-signed tight end John Phillips, who will provide depth behind David Johnson and Kyle Miller in the event Green is unable to play. With Antonio Gates suspended for the first four games, Green should still get a shot to work as the top tight end, but he may have to wait a week or two for his opportunity.

Green (possible concussion) was not practicing with the Chargers on Thursday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
With the Chargers having re-signed fellow tight end John Phillips, it would appear as though the team is preparing to be without Green in Sunday's season opener against Detroit, though such a possible outcome has yet to be confirmed one way or the other by the team at this stage.
Wed Sep 9 201518:46Green being checked out for possible concussion
Green is being checked out for possible concussion, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Green wasn't initially included in the Chargers' practice participation/injury report, but was subsequently added to it, indicating that his possible concussion occurred during practice Wednesday. With Antonio Gates set to serve a suspension that runs through Week 4, Green's Week 1 status is particularly noteworthy for the Chargers, who also roster David Johnson and Kyle Miller at the tight end position.

Green caught one pass (two targets) for 18 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Seahawks.
Antonio Gates (suspended) was also playing, which won't be the case for the first four games of the season. Green will finally get his chance to start for an extended period, but there's no guarantee he stays heavily involved once Gates returns. Green hasn't made much of an impression this preseason, with just two receptions in three games, albeit on very limited snaps.
