Tue Oct 13 201513:20Jackson signed by Ravens on Tuesday
Jackson was signed by the Ravens on Tuesday.
Selected by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Jackson was suspended twice during his first stint in Baltimore, and he failed to make the final roster this year. With the team once again desperate for help at cornerback, Jackson might actually see the field in Week 6. He's shown some promise as a return man, but his work as a cornerback has been far from impressive.
Tue Sep 8 201517:11Jackson released by Giants on Tuesday
Jackson was released by the Giants on Tuesday, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports.
Jackson was released by the Ravens on Saturday, then signed by the Giants on Sunday. He's shown some potential in the return game, but he's also had trouble holding on to the ball, and his work at cornerback leaves much to be desired.
Sun Sep 6 201516:57Jackson claimed off of waivers by Giants on Sunday
Jackson was claimed off of waivers by the Giants on Sunday, the team's official site reports.
Jackson was released by the Ravens on Saturday, after spending his first three seasons in Baltimore. Jackson is the fifth cornerback on the Giants active roster. The Giants released tackle Kenrick Ellis and cornerback Mike Harris to make room for both Jackson and defensive tackle Louis Nix who were both signed Sunday.

Jackson has been used as the Ravens' primary return man for the first three preseason games, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Jackson had an interesting night Saturday against the Redskins, returning a kickoff for 103 yards to the two-yard line, but then muffing a punt later in the game. With nobody else stepping up to fill the role, Jackson is the favorite to handle both kickoffs and punts at the start of the season. He'll be no higher than fourth or fifth on the depth chart at cornerback.
Thu Jun 18 201515:13Jackson candidate to return punts this season
Jackson is a candidate to return punts this season, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Jackson finished last season on injured reserve with a knee injury but seems to have made a full recovery. The former fifth-round pick has played just 14 games through three seasons, due to a combination of injuries and suspensions. He'll compete for a depth role in the Baltimore secondary during training camp, but a job on special teams may present his best shot to get on the field.
Mon Dec 15 201417:03Jackson (knee) will miss rest of season
Jackson (knee) will miss the rest of the season, ESPN's Jamison Hensley reports.
He suffered the knee injury in Sunday's win over the Jaguars, and will now leave the Ravens a little shorthanded in the secondary.

Jackson suffered a right knee injury during Sunday's win over the Jaguars, the Ravens' official website reports.
The injury appeared to be fairly serious, as Jackson was unable to put any weight on his right leg while being carried off the field. The Ravens have been devastated by injuries at the cornerback position this season, and the team was forced to turn to 2013 UDFA Rashaan Melvin for the fourth quarter of Sunday's game. Melvin was excellent down the stretch, making him the likely starter across from Lardarius Webb for Week 16, if Jackson is unable to play.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is optimistic that Jackson (toe) will return from IR/designated to return for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, the Ravens' official website reports.
Jackson would likely return as either the starting right cornerback or nickel corner, and while Jackson mostly struggled earlier this season, Baltimore needs all the help it can get in the secondary. Converted safety Anthony Levine has been picked on as the starting right cornerback, leading to 19 tackles (14 solo) over the past two weeks. Jackson still wouldn't be much of an IDP option, but he could perhaps emerge as one before the end of the season.
Fri Nov 7 201416:05Jackson (toe) making good progress in recovery
Jackson (toe) is making good progress in his recovery, and the Ravens expect him to return from IR/designated to return for Week 14 against the Dolphins, CSN Baltimore reports.
With fellow cornerback Jimmy Smith (foot) out for the season, Jackson may come back to the Ravens as the starting right corner. In the meantime, the team will ride with Danny Gorrer and/or Tramain Jacobs, both of whom were just signed this week, across from Lardarius Webb.

Jackson (toe) has been placed on the Ravens' injured reserve/designated to return list, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Jackson suffered a severely sprained toe during last weekend's game and will now be sidelined until at least Week 15. His absence comes as a considerable blow to the Ravens' defense, as Jackson started four of the team's five games thus far due to fellow cornerback Lardarius Webb (back) being injured. Prior to going down Sunday, Jackson had registered 19 tackles (16 solo) on the campaign. In a corresponding roster move, Baltimore signed Dominique Franks on Wednesday to improve the depth of their secondary.
Mon Oct 6 201416:25Jackson dealing with severely sprained toe
Jackson is dealing with a severely sprained toe, the Baltimore Sun reports.
The report suggests that Jackson -- who has 19 tackles in five games to date -- could be be placed on injured reserve-designated to return by the Ravens, which would represent a significant hit to the team's depth at cornerback.
Sun Sep 21 201411:43Jackson (concussion) active for Sunday's game against Browns
Jackson (concussion) is active for Sunday's game against the Browns.
Jackson suffered a concussion in Week 2 against the Steelers, though he's had extra time to recover with that game coming last Thursday. He'll work as a nickel corner Sunday, with Lardarius Web and Jimmy Smith both healthy.
Fri Sep 19 201416:25Jackson (concussion) probable for Sunday's game in Cleveland
Jackson (concussion) is probable for Sunday's game in Cleveland, the Ravens' official website reports.
With Lardarius Webb (back) also probable, Jackson will likely work as the nickel corner against a Cleveland offense that lacks talent at wide receiver. Jackson might warrant deep-league IDP consideration later in the season if he gets another chance to step in for Webb or Jimmy Smith as a starter.

Jackson (concussion) was a full practice participant both Wednesday and Thursday.
Jackson thus seems likely to play against the Browns on Sunday, but his role remains rather uncertain. If Lardarius Webb (back) returns, Jackson will likely work as the nickel corner. If not, either Jackson or Chykie Brown will start across from Jimmy Smith. Brown got the nod in Week 1, but was then replaced by Jackson for Week 2. IDP owners likely want to avoid the situation altogether, as neither Brown nor Jackson offers much long-term appeal.

Jackson left Thursday's contest against the Steelers with a concussion and won't return, the Baltimore Sun reports.
The loss of Jackson on Thursday further taxes a Ravens' secondary that was already operating without fellow cornerback Lardarius Webb.

Jackson worked as the nickel corner in Sunday's loss to the Bengals, playing 46-of-67 defensive snaps.
Chykie Brown got the start in place of Lardarius Webb (back), but that doesn't mean Brown is ahead of Jackson in the pecking order. Once Webb returns, Jackson will likely still be the third corner, with Brown presumably dropping back to fourth.
Sat Aug 30 201414:16Jackson (ankle) returned to practice Saturday
Jackson (ankle) returned to practice Saturday, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Of the Ravens' three injured corners who returned to practice Saturday, Jackson was reportedly the most active. He's the favorite to open the season as the team's No. 3 corner, but could be asked to do something more in Week 1 against the Bengals, as starters Lardarius Webb (back) and Jimmy Smith (chest) are both banged up.

Jackson (ankle) will not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Redskins, the Baltimore Post reports.
Jackson's ankle ailment will cost him a second consecutive preseason contest. Additionally, with Lardarius Webb (back) and Jimmy Smith (chest) also out, Jackson's chief competition for the Ravens' No. 3 cornerback position, Chykie Brown, should see extended playing time in Saturday's game.

Jackson (ankle) could play in Saturday's preseason game against the Redskins, The Ravens' official website reports.
Health permitting, Jackson figures to open the season as the Ravens' No. 3 cornerback, though there's some chance that Chykie Brown is still in the mix for that role. With Lardarius Webb (back) looking uncertain for Week 1, Jackson could come into some surprising early-season IDP value.
Sat Aug 16 201420:12Jackson (ankle) seen before contest with boot on right foot
Jackson (ankle), who did not play in Saturday's preseason game, was seen before the contest with a boot on his right foot, The Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec reports.
Coach John Harbaugh said that Jackson isn't expected to miss a lot of time, but it's not entirely clear what that means. With No. 1 corner Lardarius Webb (back) yet to play this preseason, and No. 2 corner Jimmy Smith exiting Saturday's game with a chest injury, the Ravens are extremely banged up at arguably their thinnest position. Jackson is the favorite for the No. 3 cornerback job, a role he's been competing with Chykie Brown for during training camp.
