Ryan Garko has signed a contract with a team in Korea.
Garko showed some promise a couple of years ago with the Indians, but he was exposed once teams tried to make him an everyday player and probably stands to gain more financially overseas. The 29-year-old finished with a .091/.167/.091 batting line over 33 big league at-bats in 2010.

The Rangers plan to waive first baseman Ryan Garko on Friday when they activate outfielder Nelson Cruz from the disabled list.
Garko, 29, has posted a disastrous .094 batting average and a 265 OPS in 32 at-bats this season for the Rangers. With top prospect Justin Smoak now on the roster, Garko hasn't really had much of a role for the past few weeks. He is a .275/.347/.434 career hitter over five MLB seasons.
