McLeod (knee) is listed as active Sunday in San Francisco, Myle Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.
The presence of newcomer Mark Barron could eat into McLeod's snap count at safety, thereby hindering his IDP potential. Still, McLeod has tallied 33 tackles (29 solo), four passes defended, one interception, and one forced fumble in seven outings this season.

McLeod (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against San Francisco.
Given St. Louis' Tuesday trade for Mark Barron, it's probable that McLeod will head to the bench even if he suits up.

McLeod picked off a pass and added five tackles to aid in a 19-17 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday.
McLeod played well last season and is the anchor of the Rams' defensive backfield. He doesn't have a ton of IDP value, as he doesn't pick off many passes, but he should be up in the 80-90 tackle range by season's end.
Thu Aug 29 201322:03Rams name Rodney McLeod starting safety
Rams GM Les Snead named Rodney McLeod the team's starting free safety.
Fourth-year safety Darian Stewart was fully expected to man the free safety spot as training camp commenced. Predictably, Stewart ended up battling various injuries and has missed the last two preseason games. McLeod, a second-year UDFA out of Virginia, is tiny at 5-foot-10, 180, but he's the best the Rams have. Stewart's roster spot could be in jeopardy.
