The Rockies met Wednesday with Milton Bradley's agent, according to the Sun-Times' Gordon Wittenmyer.
Bradley was released from the Mariners in mid-May after batting just .218/.313/.356 and has since been accused by his wife of making threats of violence. It'd be surprising to see the Rockies give him a shot.

Fri Oct 14 201108:19Report: Bradley threatened to kill his wife
Court documents obtained by TMZ.com allege that Milton Bradley threatened to kill his wife last month.
Bradley's wife, Monique Bradley, alleges that her husband threatened her with a baseball bat during an incident on September 27 and picked up a photo of a gun and told her, "This is the gun that I'm going to kill you with." She added that Bradley has been "emotionally and physically abusive" throughout their marriage, but she would often take him back because "I genuinely believed that one day I could fix him." A hearing on the matter is scheduled for October 25, and, in the meantime, Monique has filed a restraining order.

Mon May 16 201113:35Mariners release Bradley, who had been DFA'd
Mariners released OF Milton Bradley.
Bradley was designated for assignment by the Mariners last week and probably didn't draw any trade interest from other clubs. Jon Heyman of SI.com heard from two baseball executives Friday that it's possible no organization will bother taking a chance in free agency either. Bradley is simply too much of a distraction and was batting just .218/.313/.356 for Seattle this year.

Fri May 13 201112:20Milton Bradley unlikely to sign on anywhere?
Two baseball executives told SI.com's Jon Heyman they didn't think any team would be willing to sign Milton Bradley, who was designated for assignment by the Mariners Monday.
"I think he's had enough chances,'' one said. The another executive, who is part of a recent team of Bradley's, added, "He's a fun sucker. He sucks the fun out of everything. Everyone walks around on tippy toes because nobody wants to offend him ... He has enough money. He should use it to get some help.'' It would be different if Bradley were still hitting, but two straight years of horrible production makes the fiery outfielder/DH an unattractive option right now.

Thu May 12 201113:11Padres not interested in Milton Bradley
Padres GM Jed Hoyer told Darren Smith of XX1090 Sports Radio that he "[doesn't] think it's likely" they'll go after the recently designated for assignment Milton Bradley.
The Padres' offense is horrendous, and Hoyer indicated that Bradley has supporters in the clubhouse, including former manager Bud Black, but evidently he just doesn't see a fit. It's going to be hard for Bradley to find work anywhere.

Mon May 9 201114:04Milton Bradley designated for assignment
Mariners designated OF Milton Bradley for assignment.
It had looked like Bradley dodged a bullet after Ryan Langerhans was designated for assignment in order to make room for Mike Wilson. But, the M's weren't done there, as they also brought up Carlos Peguero and sent Bradley packing. He simply wasn't worth the headache anymore with a .218/.313/.356 batting line on the season. Someone will probably be willing to take a shot on him, but it's entirely possible Bradley's days as a starter are over.
