Fri Mar 11 201111:30Nats reassign Aubrey, others to minors camp
Nationals reassigned 1Bs Michael Aubrey and Kevin Barker, OFs Jonathan Van Every and Jeff Frazier, and catchers Jhonatan Solano and Carlos Maldonado to minor league camp.
Not a surprise here on any of them. Aubrey inked a minor league contract with the Nats this winter and will try to revive his career in the club's farm system. He was a first-round pick of the Indians back in 2003 but has almost no major league experience to this point.

Mon Dec 20 201013:32Nats ink Michael Aubrey to minors contract
Nationals signed 1B Michael Aubrey to a minor league contract.
Aubrey was a first-round pick of the Indians back in 2003, but he's made only 145 major league plate appearances and he's not likely to crack the Nationals' Opening Day roster. He's organizational depth, essentially.

Orioles sent 1B Michael Aubrey outright to Triple-A Norfolk.
Aubrey was designated for assignment last week, but cleared waivers without much interest and has decided to stay with the O's. He took 90 at-bats for Baltimore last season, smacking four homers and tallying 14 RBI.
