Sun Sep 1912:03Kyle Seager Gets A Breather Sunday
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager will take a seat on the bench for Sunday's matchup against the Kansas City Royals. Dylan Moore will get the start at the hot corner in his stead, and Abraham Toro moves up to the third spot in the lineup. Seager has hit nine homers over his last 30 games, but he's struggled to a .120/.241/.160 slash line with no homers over his last seven games. Fantasy managers will hope the day off does him good and gets him back to his slugging ways.

Thu Sep 913:37Kyle Seager Reaches Four Times Wednesday
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager reached base four times Wednesday, going 1-for-2 with three walks and a run scored against the Houston Astros. Seager provides plenty of power and RBI, but it's usually his batting average and on-base skills that hurt his value. If he continues to walk with this frequency, his floor elevates significantly. He's slashed .179/.303/.536 over his last seven games, making him well worth an add for the rest of the season.

Wed Sep 800:08Kyle Seager Hits 34th Homer
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager hit his 34th home run of the season Tuesday, going 1-for-4 in a 5-4 extra-inning loss to the division-leading Astros. The solo shot came off of relief pitcher Yimi Garcia in the sixth inning. Seager is well past his previous career high of 30 home runs, and with 94 RBI he's within five of tying his career best in that category as well. He's only got a .740 OPS on the year, but fantasy managers have to be very pleased with their return on investment with the veteran Seager.

Sun Aug 2921:57Kyle Seager Hits Career-High 31st Homer
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager set a new career-high in home runs Sunday, knocking his 31st of the year off of Kansas City Royals reliever Tyler Zuber to give the Mariners a lead that they would not relinquish in a 4-3 victory. Seager has been on a sustained power binge, with nine homers this month and 13 since July 26. Despite just a .216 average, he's managed to be a strong contributor in both homers and RBI with 85. He's been an excellent investment for fantasy managers, especially if they've been able to stay afloat in the batting average category.

Fri Aug 2712:18Kyle Seager Hits 30 Home Runs For Second Time
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager tied his career-high in home runs Thursday night, knocking his 30th of the season to keep up with Rafael Devers for the league lead in home runs by a third baseman. Seager went 2-for-5 with the solo shot, a double, and two runs scored in a 6-4 loss to the Kansas City Royals. Seager has now hit 12 home runs in his last 30 games, continuing an impressive power binge that has carried fantasy managers up the standings. He comes with a .218 average, but he's worth it for the homers and RBI.

Mon Aug 2300:01Kyle Seager Hits Three-Run Homer In Extras
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager homered again Sunday, the fourth time he's done so in his last seven games. It was his only knock in five at-bats against the Astros, but it came at a big moment, giving the team a 6-2 lead in the top of the 11th. He now has a seven-game hit streak and a 14-game on-base streak going. Seager is making a push for the league lead in homers by a third baseman, as he's now tied with Rafael Devers at 29. He should be in fantasy rosters in all formats.

Sat Aug 2100:44Kyle Seager Homers Again Friday
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager hit another home run Friday night, his only hit in three at-bats against the Houston Astros. The solo shot is his 28th of the season, bringing him into a tie with Jose Ramirez for second-most home runs by a third baseman this year. 11 of those home runs have come in his last 30 games, giving him a .548 slugging percentage in that time. Seager has been a major boon to his fantasy managers over that span, and could continue to carry teams into the fantasy playoffs.

Thu Aug 1910:30Kyle Seager Hits 27th Homer
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager extended his on-base streak to 10 games Wednesday night, going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double against the Texas Rangers in a 3-1 victory. His 27th long ball of the season came off starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz. It's Seager's second home run in his last three games, and he now has 11 over his past 30 games, a span in which he's produced a .554 slugging percentage. Seager is what he is at this point of his career, and that's a guy who'll put up plenty of power and RBI, but might be a sink for fantasy managers in the batting average category.

Mon Aug 1600:52Kyle Seager Hits Two-Run Shot Against Blue Jays
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager hit his 26th home run of the year Sunday, a two-run shot off Toronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Adam Cimber. He also walked in four plate appearances. Seager is now tied with Jose Ramirez for second-most home runs by a third baseman this season, trailing only Rafael Devers. He's also added 51 runs and 74 RBI. That's made him well worth a lineup spot for fantasy managers, despite only having a .731 OPS in 437 at-bats.

Sun Aug 800:34Kyle Seager Homers, Steals A Base Saturday
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager kept up his hot hitting Saturday against the New York Yankees, going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run. He also swiped his third base of the season. The home run, his 24th of the year, came off starter Andrew Heaney in the first inning. Seager has now homered in six of his last 12 games and has at least one RBI in 11 of his last 13. With his power stroke simply not slowing down, Seager should be rostered in all leagues going forward.

Fri Aug 600:35Kyle Seager Stays Hot Thursday
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager went deep again Thursday, going 1-for-4 with a solo home run off New York Yankees starting pitcher Nestor Cortes. Seager now has an RBI in 10 of his last 11 games, and has homered six times in his last 15 games. Despite a pedestrian-at-best .731 OPS on the season, Seager produced an outstanding .876 number in July and has kept that up through the early days of August. He needs to be in fantasy lineups going forward.

Wed Aug 401:56Kyle Seager Has RBI Streak Broken
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager had recorded an RBI in eight straight games entering Tuesday, but unfortunately he could not extend that streak against the Tampa Bay Rays. Seager went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts. The streak was tied with three others for the longest in the majors this year. Despite an unfortunate .297 on-base percentage, Seager has been excellent with runners in scoring position, posting a 1.060 OPS in such situations. His 66 RBI have made him a positive fantasy performer on the year.

Sat Jul 3123:23Kyle Seager Hits 22nd Homer Saturday
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager continued his power surge Saturday, smacking a two-run home run off Texas Rangers starting pitcher Taylor Hearn in the first inning of a 5-4 extra-inning loss. He also singled in four at-bats. Seager has been outstanding in his last seven games, slashing .280/.419/.760 with four home runs and 11 RBI. He isn't very reliable in the on-base department, putting up a .295 number on the year, but he's been strong with his 22 homers and 64 RBI. He's a must-add going into the next scoring period, and for as long as he stays hot.

Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager kept the pedal on the gas Wednesday, going 1-for-4 with a walk and his 21st home run of the year, a two-run shot Houston Astros starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi. It's Seager's third straight game with a home run, a feat he has now accomplished four times in his career. He now has a .577 slugging percentage in his last seven games, and fantasy managers will want to add him for the short term while he's riding this hot streak.
