Quiroz signed a minor league deal with the Giants on Saturday, Baseball America's Matt Eddy reports.
Quiroz does not bring much to the table offensively, hitting .267 with three home runs in 252 plate appearances at Triple-A Fresno last season. He will offer organizational depth at catcher, but with Buster Posey and Andrew Susac firmly entrenched at the big league level, Quiroz could very easily spend most of 2015 in the minors.

He appeared in just two games during the season's final month, however, and was ultimately deemed undeserving of a spot on the 40-man roster. The 32-year-old figures to play out 2015 as organizational depth in the minors.
