Memphis Grizzlies guards John Konchar (heel) and Scotty Pippen Jr. (shin) will play in Friday's matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. Luke Kennard (personal), Lamar Stevens (groin), Desmond Bane (back) and Vince Williams Jr. (knee) have been ruled out. With Konchar and Pippen upgraded to active ahead of tip-off, they will see plenty of extra action with several Memphis players unable to suit up.

The 23-year-old has landed on the injury report with left shin soreness. Pippen Jr. filled the box score with nine points, four rebounds, 10 assists, one block, and two steals on Wednesday. He's done well for the Grizzlies, but the injury issues hold him back, and the return of Desmond Bane (ankle) won't be good news for him either.

However, he hasn't had a regular role in the rotation, which makes him a risky fantasy choice.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Scotty Pippen Jr. has been waived by the organization on Monday. The Lakers decided to move on from Damion Baugh, and Vincent Valerio-Bodon as well. However, Pippen is the most notably considering he's the son of Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. It's possible that these three come back and join the Lakers' G-League team. None of them are expected to have an impact on fantasy basketball.
