Mon Nov 13 202309:35Neemias Queta Remains Out Monday
Boston Celtics center Neemias Queta (foot) will remain out of the lineup Monday versus the Knicks. He's troubled by a right foot problem and won't be available for the team for an eighth consecutive game. Queta has yet to feature for the Celtics after he signed a two-way contract with the team ahead of the season. He's done some outstanding work in the G League and was a member of the All-NBA G League First Team and All-Defensive Team last season, but his path to playing time is blocked by multiple big men in Beantown, so Queta will likely remain out of the rotation even if he's healthy again.

Sun Sep 17 202308:23Neemias Queta Lands In Boston On Two-Way Deal
Center Neemias Queta has signed a two-way contract with the Boston Celtics after the Sacramento Kings waived him earlier in the week. The seven-footer turns a new page in his career after spending two seasons with the Kings. He saw very little action in Sacramento and logged just 20 games across two campaigns, averaging 7.5 minutes on the floor. However, Queta has shown great potential in the G League, where he earned a First Team selection and was named into the All-Defensive Team last season. Queta put up 16.8 points per game with 8.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocks during the G League campaign. He also did well in the Summer League back in July, averaging a near-double-double with 1.5 blocks. Boston's big men have been injury-prone in previous years, so there is a chance Queta gets to see more action in green colors than he did for his prior club.

Tue Sep 12 202319:18Kings Waiving Nerlens Noel, Neemias Queta
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, centers Nerlens Noel and Neemias Queta are getting waived by the Sacramento Kings. Once the team signed JaVale McGee, there was a huge logjam with five centers on the roster. This move seemed to remedy the situation since both Noel and Queta were on partially guaranteed deals. The Mavericks could look into signing one of the two big men as they've been rumored to be on the market for a center.

Tue Aug 8 202322:26Kings Agree To Re-Sign Neemias Queta
The Sacramento Kings are bringing back free-agent center Neemias Queta (foot) on a standard contract. The length of the deal is yet to be specified, but the 24-year-old returns to support the back end of Sacramento's frontcourt depth chart at least for the 2023-24 season. Queta mostly played during garbage time last year, totaling 12 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks in 29 minutes of action. The big man experienced left foot soreness in the Summer League, but it's fair to expect him to be healthy for training camp in October. Queta sits behind Alex Len and Nerlens Noel as a fourth-stringer, so the fantasy ramifications here are minimal, if nonexistent.

Mon Jul 11 202211:25Neemias Queta Stars In Summer League Before Early Exit
Sacramento Kings center Neemias Queta (calf) was on track to deliver a significant showing during Sunday's Summer League win over Indiana before a sore left calf scuttled his performance. Queta collected 12 points on 5-for-6 shooting across 17 minutes, snatching seven rebounds and adding four blocks. One of his makes from the field was a three, something he did not so much as attempt in a 14-game stint with the Kings last year. There is set to be considerable competition in the Sacramento frontcourt to begin the season, but Queta -- a second-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft -- could prove to be valuable depth with a strong skill set to boot.
