Wolf was assigned to minor league camp Tuesday, the Fort Worth Star Telegram's Stefan Stevenson reports.

He will offer organizational bullpen depth this season, and should start the year at Triple-A.

The Rangers will start either Ross Wolf or Josh Lindblom on Wednesday in Baltimore.

The club needs a starter with Nick Tepesch (elbow) on the DL and Alexi Ogando (shoulder) not ready to return yet. Lindblom is more stretched out, but Wolf has pitched well of late, posting a 1.40 ERA over his last 19 1/3 innings. The Rangers will announce a decision later Monday.
