Richardson has a herniated disk in his neck and is expected to miss the rest of the season, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
The injury is reportedly similar to the one Richardson suffered in 2012 which required neck fusion surgery. Given that the Packers have been very conservative with neck injuries -- they refused to clear Nick Collins or Jermichael Finely in recent years -- it's reasonable to wonder if this latest injury could jeopardize Richardson's career.
