Chris Cotillo of MLBDailyDish.com reports that Steve Edlefsen has retired from baseball.
Edlefsen, 28, appeared in 27 games for the Giants from 2011-12, posting a 6.75 ERA. he had been at Triple-A with the Dodgers, where he held an 11.88 ERA across 8 1/3 innings.
