Orioles signed RHP Francis Beltran to a minor league contract. |
It's not clear if he's been given an invite to spring training. Beltran was released by the Astros last June after allowing 14 earned runs in 6 1/3 innings at Triple-A Round Rock. He hasn't appeared in the majors since 2008 and holds an ugly 5.69 ERA and 1.66 WHIP over 67 career appearances. |
