I said, 'Hopefully we'll see you back here. Go down there and get some at-bats and regain your confidence.' He was fine with it. He was very professional. He got it." Hunter was signed as a minor league free agent in January. His only previous major league experience was a six-game trial with San Diego in 2011, during which he went 1-for-4.
