Tue Sep 22 201519:18Pryor worked out Monday for Jets
Pryor worked out Monday for the Jets, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Pryor made the original 53-man roster for the Browns, but was cut days later. With Eric Decker (knee) dealing with a knee injury, it's possible the Jets are looking to see if Pryor can provide depth at WR.
Thu Sep 10 201516:41Terrelle Pryor: Waived by Browns
Pryor (hamstring) was waived by the Browns, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
The move is a surprising one, given that Pryor made the Browns' initial 53-man roster, but now it looks like the 6-foot-4, 223-pounder will take his untapped potential as a wideout elsewhere.
Wed Sep 9 201519:20Pryor (hamstring) limited participant in Wednesday's practice
Pryor (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Pryor claimed one of the last available spots on the Cleveland 53-man roster this week, but he still has some ground to cover before putting up fantasy-relevant numbers. A hamstring injury limited the 6-4 converted wideout for most of the preseason, but he did return for the fourth and final exhibition contest to record nine rushing yards on two carries. Pryor certainly has the size and speed to be a contributor on offense, so it may be a matter of repetitions holding back the former Buckeye.
Sat Sep 5 201516:43Pryor (hamstring) made 53-man roster
Pryor (hamstring) made the 53-man roster, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Pryor missed the first three preseason games, then had two rushes for nine yards while lined up as a quarterback in the fourth. Despite his quiet preseason, the Browns are enamored with Pryor's impressive athleticism, as none of their other receivers have a comparable combination of speed, size and strength. Though unlikely to have a big role in the Week 1 offense, Pryor found a nice landing spot in Cleveland, with the team's lack of skill-position talent giving him a reasonable chance to eventually climb the depth chart.
Tue Sep 1 201520:57Pryor (hamstring) plans to play in Thursday's preseason finale
Pryor (hamstring) plans to play in Thursday's preseason finale, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Pryor acknowledged that he's not completely recovered from the right hamstring injury, but his lack of participation in any preseason action to date may make it necessary for him to make an impact in a game setting to aid his chances of cracking the 53-man roster. The injury has impacted Pryor's burst off the long, but the former quarterback feels he's shown enough improvement since returning to practice last week to give it a go Thursday. He'll still need to wait for trainers to clear him to play.

Pryor, who sat out Saturday's preseason contest with a hamstring injury, does not necessarily need to play in the team's final preseason game in order to make the team as a wide receiver, ESPN Cleveland reports.
This is a bit strange coming from Mike Pettine, as he's typically a coach who demands young players prove themselves before getting an opportunity. Pryor hasn't had a chance to do that yet, as a hamstring injury and ensuing setback has limited his time on the field during camp, and held him out of every preseason game. Even if he makes the final roster, Pryor's projected fantasy outlook remains bleak, as it has yet to be seen how he'll fit into Cleveland's offensive scheme. It's a high-risk pick that can safely be limited to the deepest of formats.

Pryor will not play in Saturday's preseason game against Tampa Bay, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Pryor's hamstring has been an issue for much of camp, and while he came into the weekend with a 50-50 shot at playing Saturday, he won't be on the field for the Browns' third preseason game. Weather could have been the deciding factor here given that the torrential rains in Tampa would have made for slick footing--not ideal for a player with a lingering hamstring issue.
Sat Aug 29 201514:24Pryor has 50-50 shot at playing in Saturday's preseason game
Pryor has a 50-50 shot at playing in Saturday's preseason game, ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi reports.
It would be great to get an extended look at Pryor on Saturday, but owners may not get that chance. The safe move would be to not use Pryor in preseason daily contests Saturday.
Wed Aug 26 201514:31Pryor
Pryor, who aggravated his strained hamstring on Aug. 17, returned to practice Wednesday, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Pryor, who is making the switch from quarterback to wide receiver, will now get down to the business of trying to secure a roster spot with the Browns. While he does possess an intriguing blend of size and speed, Pryor has some catching up to do at this point and thus appears to be an outlier in re-draft formats.

Pryor (hamstring) likely needs to return to the field by Wednesday in order to play in Saturday's preseason game in Tampa, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Pryor was held out of wide receiver drills once again Monday, and if he can't make it on to the field soon, his chances of hanging on to a roster spot after the first round of cuts will get much slimmer. Offensive coordinator John DeFilippo commented on the situation Monday, stating that "There's got to be a sense of urgency from Terrelle." It sounds like Pryor still has a chance to make the team, but the likelihood of that happening decreases with each day he sits out of practice.

Pryor's (hamstring) window to make the Cleveland roster is "narrowing everyday he's not out there" according to head coach Mike Pettine, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Pryor will always be a tantalizing prospect given his measurables, but Pettine's quote makes it sound as if the Browns coaches aren't going to give a roster spot to a project at receiver if they also have to wait for him to get healthy. Previous reports have indicated Pryor is well in contention for the final roster, but it's now clear he needs to return soon if he wants to capitalize that.
Tue Aug 18 201519:46Pryor missed Tuesday's practice due to hamstring issue
Pryor missed Tuesday's practice due to a hamstring issue, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Pryor missed most of the early portions of training camp due to a tight hamstring, but his performance in joint practices with the Bills this past weekend was encouraging enough to cause Cabot to pen earlier Tuesday that the former quarterback has an "excellent" chance to make the 53-man roster. Clearly, any setback hinders Pryor's ability to achieve such an end, but the Browns have yet to release the severity of the injury.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Pryor (hamstring) has an excellent chance to make the final 53-man roster.
Pryor has been dealing with a hamstring injury that cost him nearly two weeks of action, but was able to return and participate in joint practices with the Bills over the weekend. Although the converted wideout may have looked a bit rusty, both his determination and physical tools have been praised by the coaching staff so far during camp. His versatility may also help his case, as Pryor can potentially be used in trick plays, or line up at the tight end position. In a position group that lacks a standout talent, the former Buckeye quarterback's upside alone could help him crack the final roster in a competitive battle.
Fri Aug 14 201515:47Pryor (hamstring) expected to return to practice Saturday
Pryor (hamstring) is expected to return to practice Saturday, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Pryor has been sidelined by a hamstring injury since the early part of training camp and missed Cleveland's opening preseason game Thursday because of the ailment. However, following that recent absence, it appears Pryor is edging closer toward his return to the field, which could come as early as Saturday.

Pryor (hamstring) won't play in Thursday's preseason opener versus Washington, Kevin Jones of the Browns' official site reports.
Pryor hasn't practiced since coming down with a tight hamstring early in training camp, so his absence Thursday is no surprise. Prior to the game, though, he took part in extensive route-running drills. His overall aim is active status for next Thursday's game against the Bills.

Pryor (hamstring) isn't practicing Tuesday and is unlikely to play in the Browns' preseason opener Thursday against the Redskins, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Pryor has now missed a full week of practice, even though he initially deemed his absence to be precautionary. Once healthy, he'll hope to earn a roster spot as the fourth or fifth wide receiver, though he could eventually work his way up an unimpressive depth chart.
Sun Aug 9 201511:52Pryor (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice on Sunday
Pryor (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice on Sunday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
After suffering the hamstring injury on Tuesday, Pryor initially thought he would be ready for the team's scrimmage on Friday. However, he sat out the scrimmage and remained out on Sunday. There is currently no further word on the nature of Pryor's injury, but it looks as if the team is remaining cautions with the wide receiver's hamstring.

Pryor left Tuesday's practice with tightness in his hamstring but believes he will be ready for Friday's scrimmage. "I didn't pull anything...it was really just a precaution," said Pryor following Tuesday's practice.
Pryor has been impressive thus far in camp as he transitions from quarterback to wide receiver. When asked if he will miss practice time, Pryor stated, "I hope not, but if it is going to help me make the team and help the team get better, then I think missing one day rather than a while is probably smarter...I feel pretty good right now. It is not bad at all."

Pryor is currently "ahead of where we thought he would be" according to head coach Mike Pettine, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Pryor is currently in the midst of a transition to a new position, and the feedback so far has been positive, as he seems to fit right in with the wide receiver group. The 26-year-old is hoping to make an NFL roster as a pass-catching threat, but finds himself in a crowded position group in Cleveland following the offseason acquisitions of Dwayne Bowe and Brian Hartline. He'll have to excel in the preseason and make the final roster before talks of fantasy relevance can become legitimized.
Mon Jun 22 201516:49Pryor claimed on waivers by Browns
Pryor has been claimed on waivers by the Browns, NFL Network's Albert Breer reports.
Pryor, who was waived Thursday by the Bengals, is in line to give it as a go as a wide receiver for the Browns after previously working as a quarterback. While we'd be surprised if he landed on the fantasy radar in the short term, Pryor does posses an intriguing blend of size and speed that could lend to a successful position switch.
