His fastball saw a significant drop in velocity, however, from 91.1 MPH in 2013 to 90 MPH in 2014. Despite the drop, he posted better numbers in 2014, but struggled with walks (4.24 BB/9). He was traded to the Angels in the offseason, and is expected to be the club's top lefty out of the bullpen in 2015.

Angels GM Jerry Dipoto indicated Ramos will serve as the top lefty out of the bullpen in 2015, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.

Acquired from the Rays on Wednesday in exchange for Mark Sappington, Ramos put up a somewhat underwhelming 3.70 ERA and 1.35 WHIP in 43 appearances in 2014, but he's held opposing lefties to a .241/.301/.324 batting line for his career. He'll likely assume the role of top lefty right away, making him of some interest for those in leagues that count holds.
