Twins re-signed RHP Luis Perdomo to a minor league contract.
Perdomo, 28, posted a 3.18 ERA in 15 relief appearances with the Twins in 2012. He was outrighted to Triple-A Rochester earlier this offseason and will compete for a spot on the Opening Day roster in spring training.

Perdomo was removed from the 40-man roster as part of some early offseason housecleaning. The 28-year-old right-hander posted a 3.18 ERA in 15 relief appearances with the Twins this season, but he did so with an underwhelming 8/12 K/BB ratio over 17 innings.

Twins purchased the contract of RHP Luis Perdomo from Triple-A Rochester.
He'll replace the injured Anthony Swarzak (shoulder) on the active roster. Perdomo, 28, had a solid 2.14 ERA and 61/18 K/BB ratio over 59 innings this season between Double-A New Britain and Triple-A Rochester. He'll pitch in middle relief.

Twins signed RHP Luis Perdomo to a minor league contract.
Perdomo registered a rough 5.40 ERA and 51/46 K/BB ratio in 65 relief appearances this year for the Padres' Triple-A affiliate in Tucson, Arizona. It's doubtful he'll find better luck in Minnesota's system.

Padres reassigned RHPs Luis Perdomo, Greg Burke and Scott Munter, C Kyle Phillis and INF Jesus Guzman to minor league camp.
Perdomo didn't allow a run in nine spring appearances, but that wasn't enough to earn a roster spot in a terrific Padres bullpen. Guzman hit .283/.365/.478 with a pair of home runs but was unable to win a bench spot.

The only reason Perdomo was around was because the Padres blew through so many arms in Friday's extra-inning affair with the Phillies. The 26-year-old right-hander allowed one run -- a solo homer to Jayson Werth -- over one innings in his lone appearance with the team on Sunday.
