Kam Mickolio has earned a bullpen job.
The D'Backs acquired Mickolio this offseason in a trade centered around third baseman Mark Reynolds. The 26-year-old righty posted a strong 2.68 ERA and 1.21 WHIP between the Double-A and Triple-A level last season and should do just fine in middle relief.

Mon Dec 6 201015:27D'Backs get Mickolio, Hernandez for Reynolds
Diamondbacks acquired RHP Kam Mickolio and RHP David Hernandez from the Orioles for 3B Mark Reynolds.
Mickolio opened some eyes when he registered a 2.68 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 2007 between the Double-A and Triple-A level. He's faded a bit since then, but the Diamondbacks seem to think that he'll bounce back with a change of scenery. It's not yet clear if the 26-year-old will open to the 2011 season at Triple-A or if Arizona will trust him with a big league bullpen job.
