Tue May 25 201015:49O's call up Frank Mata from AAA Norfolk
Orioles purchased the contract of RHP Frank Mata from Triple-A Norfolk.
Mata had eight saves, a 1.86 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP in 14 2/3 innings this season as Norfolk's closer. He probably won't be asked to save games in the majors since this will be his first time through the highest level of baseball, but he'll certainly be a nice addition to the O's setup corps.
