Thu Sep 19 201301:30Reynolds pulled after 3 2/3 innings vs. HOU
Greg Reynolds allowed two runs over 3 2/3 innings against the Astros on Wednesday.
With the team fighting for a playoff spot, Reds manager Dusty Baker exercised a short leash with the 28-year-old. Reynolds was making his first start since August 31, when he went eight innings in a win over the Rockies. It's hard to imagine the Reds turning to the right-hander for another start this season.

Greg Reynolds gave up three earned runs in eight innings Saturday in a win over the Rockies.
Cincinnati's offense provided a nice early cushion and Reynolds basically cruised, yielding no walks and fanning five. He's been decent in two straight outings for the Reds but standard fantasy owners can probably do better. Reynolds will face the Dodgers next.

Mon Jun 10 201309:46Greg Reynolds can opt out of deal on Saturday
Greg Reynolds can opt out of his minor league contract with the Reds on Saturday and may do just that.

But the Reds have given no indication that he's in line for a promotion. The 27-year-old former top prospect would likely draw a good amount of interest as a free agent.
