Rockies re-signed RHP Manny Corpas to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
MLB.com's Thomas Harding says the deal includes an opt-out that Corpas can exercise if he doesn't crack the Opening Day roster. The veteran reliever put up a 4.54 ERA with 30 strikeouts over 41 2/3 innings for the Rockies last season.

Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports that the Rockies have removed Manny Corpas from the 40-man roster.
It's unclear whether he has been outrighted to Triple-A or designated for assignment. Corpas, who turns 31 in December, posted a 4.54 ERA and 30/16 K/BB ratio over 41 2/3 innings this season. Renck hears that he hopes to return to the Rockies.

Rockies purchased the contract of RHP Manny Corpas from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Corpas, of course, has spent most of his career with the Rockies but left them after missing 2011 due to Tommy John surgery. He's now back despite posting a 5.19 ERA with 31 strikeouts over 34 2/3 relief innings at Colorado Springs. He'll work in middle relief.
