Thu May 918:59Jalen Brunson Questionable For Game 3
New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson (foot) is considered questionable for Friday's Game 3 of the second-round series against the Pacers. Wed May 821:02Jalen Brunson Questionable To Return To Game 2
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (foot) exited Wednesday's meeting with the Indiana Pacers. He is questionable to return. The 27-year-old had 43 points to lead the Knicks to the win in Game 1. Unfortunately, he was only on the court for eight minutes in Game 2 before exiting with right foot discomfort. The Knicks need him healthy. Mon Apr 2222:35Jalen Brunson Struggles Shooting In Game 2
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson scored a team-high 24 points in Monday's win over Philly. He added eight rebounds and six assists. While the 27-year-old led the way on the scoring end, he still had trouble shooting the ball, going 8-for-29 from the field and 1-for-6 from deep. He posted similar shooting percentages in Game 1, so it's apparent the Sixers will continue to make him a focal point defensively. However, Brunson can get it done in multiple ways, keeping him on the radar as a top DFS option for any lineup when these clubs meet for Game 3 on Thursday night in Philadelphia.

Sat Apr 2023:26Jalen Brunson Leads The Knicks To A Win
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson led his team to the win over the 76ers on Saturday. Brunson had trouble shooting the ball, going 8-for-26 from the field. But he still finished with 22 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. The 22-year-old didn't have his best showing in Game 1. However, he played well enough to help his team take the series opener. Both clubs will meet for Game 2 on Monday evening. While Brunson hasn't had the easiest time dealing with Philly throughout the 2023-24 campaign, he will likely spend most of the game on the floor, which is always good for anyone's DFS potential.

Sun Apr 1416:33Jalen Brunson Drops Another 40 Points
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson scored a game-high 40 points in Sunday's overtime win over the Chicago Bulls. He added eight boards and seven assists. The 27-year-old had a solid end to the 2023-24 campaign, amassing at least 40 points in three of the Knicks' last five regular-season contests. While it still isn't enough to get Brunson an MVP award, his efforts at least landed the Knicks the No. 2 seed entering the postseason. His recent uptick in production since the All-Star break will presumably make him a top-10 fantasy option for next season. It could go even higher if New York at least makes it to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Mon Apr 815:10Jalen Brunson Open To Extension With Knicks?
Steve Popper of Newsday has "heard whispers that New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson would be open to discussions to do [an extension] this summer." Brunson signed a four-year, $104 million contract with New York back during the 2022 offseason, and the Knicks could look to lock up the 27-year-old All-Star floor general on another long-term deal ahead of his 2025-26 player option. Brunson has put the team on his back during his second season in the Big Apple, most recently averaging 33.0 points, 7.5 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 2.8 three-pointers across his latest 14 appearances. Next up for the superstar playmaker is a rigid draw against the Chicago Bulls, who allow the second-fewest FanDuel points to opposing point guards. If lockdown defender Alex Caruso (ankle) ends up missing a second straight game, however, it would be a major boon to Brunson's matchup outlook.

With that in mind, Brunson amassed 31 points and 13 assists the last time these clubs met, meaning he's an ideal DFS option.

Fri Mar 819:09Jalen Brunson Back For Knicks On Friday
New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson (knee) will return to action in Friday's matchup against Orlando. The first-year All-Star ended up sitting out only one game with a left knee contusion. Brunson's return pushes Miles McBride back to the bench. The 23-year-old has struggled to get meaningful minutes as a member of the second unit and won't have much fantasy value. The Knicks star makes his return in a juicy spot, as the Magic will be without their best backcourt defender Jalen Suggs (thigh), which puts Brunson in a good position to go off for a big night.

Thu Mar 715:34Jalen Brunson Practices Thursday
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (knee) participated in most of practice on Thursday, per head coach Tom Thibodeau. Thibodeau said he doesn't know what the Knicks will list Brunson as on the upcoming injury report for Friday's matchup versus the Orlando Magic. New York will officially provide the All-Star guard's designation later on Thursday, but he should be considered questionable at this juncture. In five appearances without Brunson this year, Miles McBride is offering 16.2 points, 5.6 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.0 triples per game and would likely remain in the starting backcourt if Brunson remains out for a second straight game on Friday.
