Twins signed 1B/OF Jeff Bailey to a minor league contract.

The deal includes an invite to spring training. Bailey, who turns 32 on Friday, batted .289/.387/.462 with 12 homers and 78 RBI in 478 at-bats with Triple-A Reno this past season. He has a .228/.340/.434 batting line over 159 major league plate appearances, all with the Red Sox from 2007-09.
