Walters was acquired by the Nationals from the Dodgers on Monday in exchange for cash considerations, Dan Kolko of MASN reports.

Walters should provide more organizational depth for the Nationals. In four starts this season with Triple-A Oklahoma City, Walters carried a 4.70 ERA with a 15:7 K:BB ratio in 23 innings. Walters will report to Triple-A Syracuse.
