Pirates returned OF John Raynor to the Marlins.
Raynor, 26, was selected with the second pick in last December's Rule 5 Draft. He was designated for an assignment by the Pirates last week after starting the season 2-for-10 with a run scored. He's a bit old for a prospect as this point, but with his elite speed, he makes for a fine piece of organizational depth.
