Orioles signed OF Randy Winn to a minor league contract.
The deal also comes with an invitation to spring training, where Winn will face an uphill battle if his goal is to land a spot on Baltimore's Opening Day roster. He also lacks range defensively and often plays curiously deep to make up for it.

Randy Winn would like to continue to play in 2011 if he can "find a team that would like me to play for them."
It won't be easy. Winn hit just .239/.307/.356 with four homers and six steals for the Yankees and Cardinals last season. The 36-year-old will have to accept a minor league deal somewhere and hope to earn a bench spot. His days as a solid fantasy option are certainly over.
