Mon Jul 4 201123:17Jakubauskas lit up again
Chris Jakubauskas got lit up by the Rangers on Monday evening, allowing six runs on seven hits and two home runs in just two innings of an Orioles loss.
That may do it for Jakubauskas' spot in the Orioles rotation, as he is now the owner of a 6.75 ERA and 1.78 WHIP through his first 40 innings of work. If not for Brian Matusz's recent demotion, Jakubauskas would likely already have a different role.

Fri Jun 24 201123:30Jakubauskas gets through five
Chris Jakubauskas surrendered three runs on five hits and three walks over five innings Friday in a 5-4 extra innings win over the Reds.
He threw just 76 pitches, as Jakubauskas isn't all the way stretched out yet after moving back-and-forth from the bullpen to the rotation. The right-hander hasn't been anything special, but he's probably pitched well enough to remain in the rotation for the time being, holding a 4.43 ERA over his four starts. He'll likely get the Braves next weekend.
