Tigers signed LHP Wil Ledezma to a minor league contract.
It's a return to the Tigers organization for the 33-year-old southpaw who caught on as a Rule-5 draftee in 2003. He spent the 2013 season as a reliever for Chiba Lotte in Japan's Pacific League where he posted a 3.23 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 22/13 K/BB ratio over 30 2/3 innings. He's nothing more than organizational depth at the moment.

The signing was reported last month but just recently became official. Ledezma gave up 10 runs over six innings this season for the Blue Jays but had a lot more success at Triple-A, boasting a 64/19 K/BB ratio over 48 innings. He'll get a spring training invite but will surely be at Triple-A to start the season.

Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that the Dodgers are expected to sign Wil Ledezma to a minor league contract.
The deal isn't official yet, but it appears to just be a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's at this point. Ledezma gave up 10 runs over six innings this season for the Blue Jays but had a lot more success at Triple-A, boasting a 64/19 K/BB ratio over 48 innings. He'll likely compete for a bullpen spot in spring training.

The Pirates and LHP Wilfredo Ledezma avoided arbitration Wednesday by agreeing to a one-year contract.
No word yet on how much Ledezma will make on the deal. He was inked to a minor league contract this offseason and threw up some really good numbers at the Triple-A level. The Bucs are hoping that he will continue to make progress and eventually become a reliable middle reliever.

The Bucs inked Ledezma to a minor league contract in the offseason after he enjoyed some success in the Blue Jays' farm system in 2009. He's posted a 0.94 ERA, a 1.02 WHIP and 50 strikeouts in 38 1/3 innings for the Indianapolis Indians this year and will pitch in middle relief for the Pirates.
