Golson was hit in the head by A.J. Burnett during batting practice on Sunday morning, but the good news is that he's just fine. The 25-year-old outfielder could return to game action as soon as Wednesday.

Greg Golson was hit in the head by A.J. Burnett during a batting practice session on Sunday morning.
Golson was taken off the field in a cart, but fortunately everything checked out OK. "He [Golson] probably won't play [today]," said Girardi. "But he is OK." As easy as it would be to blame this incident on the erratic Burnett, the Yankees feel the glare made the ball impossible for Golson to pick up. According to Marc Carig of the Newark Star-Ledger, the Yankees plan to stop hitting on the back field of their spring training facility.
