Cobb snagged three passes for 23 yards on six targets in Sunday's win over St. Louis.
The three catches were Cobb's lowest total since Week 3 of last year and his 27 yards were a three-year low dating back to Week 3 of the 2012 season. In an offense built around Aaron Rodgers spreading it around, Cobb can expect ebbs and flows. In Weeks 1, 4 and 5, Cobb combined for 13 receptions for just 105 yards and a score. In Weeks 2 and 3, he had a combined 15 catches for 207 yards and three touchdowns. That kind of volatility in production was not what owners were probably hoping for when they drafted Cobb, betting that he'd be the go-to target in the absence of Jordy Nelson, but he is worth keeping in the lineup as he is capable of shooting off any week. His 42 targets are still 17 more than any other Packer.
Sun Oct 11 201511:50Randall Cobb: Active Sunday
Cobb (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game versus the Rams, the Packers' official site reports.
Acting as Aaron Rodgers' favorite target, Cobb will seek to exploit a Rams secondary that has allowed just 9.3 YPC to wide receivers this season.

Cobb (shoulder) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Cobb's shoulder may be sore all season, but he seems to be fine unless he takes a direct hit to the affected area. Even then, it mostly just seems to be an issue of pain management, as he didn't let a big hit keep him out of last week's game for more than a snap or two. So long as he's somewhat healthy and playing with Aaron Rodgers, Cobb will be one of the top options at his position, regardless of matchup.
Wed Oct 7 201518:08Randall Cobb: Limited Wednesday
Cobb (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Cobb's previous limited showing in drills occurred in advance of Week 2, but owners shouldn't fret, as his availability for Sunday's game isn't in peril. The upcoming matchup should provide numerous opportunities to prosper, as the Rams defense has yielded 36 receptions and 396 yards to wideouts over the past two weeks.

Cobb (shoulder) caught five of seven targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 17-3 win at San Francisco.
Cobb was banged up a few times Sunday, but didn't miss more than a handful of plays. He's had to deal with a nagging AC joint sprain in his shoulder for weeks, but there has been no decline in his production. He's still seeing plenty of targets too, with 30 looks in his last three games. There's no reason to think he'll slow down next week against the Rams in Lambeau Field, a venue where Aaron Rodgers has compiled a 43:0 TD:INT ratio in his last 14 starts.
Sun Oct 4 201515:15Cobb (shoulder) listed as active Sunday at San Francisco
Cobb (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday at San Francisco, the Packers' official site reports.
Cobb has toughed out a balky shoulder throughout the season, gathering in 20 of 28 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns along the way. He'll look to keep up the pace versus a 49ers secondary that has been absolutely torched by wide receivers in 2015 to the tune of 17.5 YPC.

Cobb (shoulder) is listed as probable for Sunday's game in San Francisco, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.
Cobb's shoulder may still be a bit sore, but there haven't been any reports of an aggravation. Even if he keeps showing up on the injury report, there's minimal cause for concern. With Davante Adams (ankle) in danger of missing Sunday's game, Cobb could see a few more targets than usual, not that he was lacking for them in the first place.
Wed Sep 30 201518:07Cobb (shoulder) practiced in full Wednesday
Cobb (shoulder) practiced in full Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Cobb will likely be placed on the injury report until his right shoulder is 100 percent healthy, but owners shouldn't fret, as he'll act as Aaron Rodgers' favorite target from game to game. In Week 4, Cobb has a juicy matchup against a 49ers secondary that has allowed 17.5 YPC and four touchdowns to opposing wideouts this season.

Cobb caught seven passes (on 12 targets) for 91 yards and three touchdowns in Monday night's win over the Chiefs.
Cobb was the Packers' favorite red zone weapon Monday night, as the longest of his incredible three touchdowns came from merely four yards out. Along with beating the Chiefs' defense to the goal line on multiple occasions, Cobb was targeted a game-high 12 times and also rushed once for 12 yards. On the back of his first career three touchdown game, Cobb should be full of confidence as the Packers prepare for their Week 4 contest against the 49ers.
Mon Sep 28 201519:08Randall Cobb: (Shoulder) Active Monday
Cobb (shoulder) is listed as active Monday versus the Chiefs, the Packers' official site reports.
Cobb has operated with a right shoulder at less than 100 percent this season, yet he's still picked up 95 percent of the Packers' offensive snaps. His production hasn't faltered, either -- 13 receptions (on 16 targets) for 154 yards and one touchdown -- which should continue against a Chiefs secondary that has yielded league worsts in catches (41) and receiving yards (506) to wideouts in 2015.
Sat Sep 26 201517:56Cobb (shoulder) participated fully in another practice Saturday
Cobb (shoulder) participated fully in another practice Saturday, and is officially probable for Monday's game against the Chiefs, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.
Cobb has played each of the first two contests despite his shoulder reportedly still sitting at less than 100 percent. There's no reason that shouldn't be the case once again Monday, but it's worth noting that he probably won't be full go again.
Thu Sep 24 201517:21While Cobb fit in full practice Thursday
While Cobb fit in a full practice Thursday, he said that his right shoulder is "not where I want it to be," Weston Hodkiewicz of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Cobb practiced without restrictions for the first time since sustaining an AC joint sprain in the Packers' third preseason game. Revealing that the injury still ails him Thursday, he's nonetheless managed to log 95 percent of the team's offensive snaps en route to 13 receptions (on 16 targets) for 154 yards and one touchdown through two contests.
Thu Sep 24 201516:29Randall Cobb: (Shoulder) Practices In Full Thursday
Cobb (shoulder) practiced in full Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
The full showing in drills equals Cobb's first of the season, but his performance against the Seahawks on Sunday (eight catches for 116 yards on 11 targets) already made clear his health. He'll now prepare for a Chiefs defense that has allowed by far the most receptions (41) and yards (506) to opposing wideouts this season.
Mon Sep 21 201500:33Cobb (shoulder) caught eight passes for 116 yards on 11 targets ...
Cobb (shoulder) caught eight passes for 116 yards on 11 targets in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Seahawks.
Coming off a five-target showing in Week 1, Cobb dominated Aaron Rodgers' attention Sunday night, with no other Packer drawing more than five targets. Cobb avoided a matchup with CB Richard Sherman, who spent a lot of time covering the slot in Week 1, but then stayed at left cornerback throughout Sunday's game. Cobb's shoulder seems to be improving with time, and he'll have an extra day of rest before next Monday's game against the Chiefs.
Sun Sep 20 201519:11Cobb (shoulder) listed as active for Sunday night's game agains...
Cobb (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday night's game against the Seahawks.
While Cobb may be impacted some by the AC joint sprain he sustained on Aug. 29, he'll continue to tough it out in Week 2, on the heels of catching a team-high five passes (on five targets) and a touchdown last Sunday against the Bears.
Fri Sep 18 201519:33Cobb (shoulder) probable for Sunday's game against Seahawks
Cobb (shoulder) is probable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
Cobb was limited in practice for a second straight week, after posting a 5-38-1 receiving line in Green Bay's regular-season opener against the Bears. He admitted that he'll likely be impacted by his AC joint sprain for at least the first few weeks of the season, and he draws a difficult matchup Sunday night. The Seahawks used CB Richard Sherman in the slot when they went to their nickel defense in Week 1, and they may do the same against Cobb and the Packers.
Thu Sep 17 201516:27Cobb (shoulder) remained limited in practice Thursday
Cobb (shoulder) remained limited in practice Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Cobb's continued presence on the injury report implies that he's still somewhat bothered by the AC joint sprain sustained on Aug. 29. As a result, owners may want to temper expectations for the wideout's production, especially against a Seahawks defense Sunday that boasts Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas within its secondary.
Wed Sep 16 201520:21Randall Cobb: (Shoulder) Limited Wednesday
Cobb (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin reports.
Cobb will likely turn in capped reps at practice until his shoulder has fully healed, but in the interim, he's expected to suit up and play on game days. In Week 1, he managed to gather in all five targets for 38 yards and one touchdown.

Cobb (shoulder) had a team-high five catches on five targets for 38 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Bears.
Cobb was clearly affected by his shoulder injury, but he still managed to haul in a late five-yard touchdown, quarterback Aaron Rodgers' third of the game. Cobb led the team in receptions, but Davante Adams led in targets (eight) and receiving yards (59) and James Jones had two touchdown grabs. Cobb is still the highest upside play of the Packers' receivers, though it's clear that Jones could poach a fair number of targets from in close.
Sun Sep 13 201511:34Randall Cobb: (Shoulder) Listed As Active Sunday
Cobb (shoulder) is active for Sunday's regular season opener against the Bears.
Cobb was a limited participant in practice this week, but has remained highly confident about his prospects of playing in the opener. Despite potentially dealing with a limited range of motion in the shoulder, he'll suit up and be expected to play an important role. The Bears checked in at No. 30 in the league in terms of passing yards per game in 2014 (264.4), so it's a strong matchup for Cobb if he's deployed at full capacity.
