Murray rushed 20 times for 83 yards and a touchdown and caught seven passes on eight targets for 37 receiving yards Sunday against the Saints.
One week after complaining that he wasn't getting enough touches, Murray finished with 26 more rushing yards than he had in his previous three games combined. Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles combined for 100 yards on 12 carries, with Mathews rumbling for a 33-yard run and a two-yard touchdown, but Murray appears poised to continue getting a majority of the touches. Up next is a Week 6 divisional matchup against the Giants.

Murray carried eight times for 36 yards and caught both of his targets for another 12 yards in Sunday's loss to Washington.
Another disappointing day at the office for the 27-year-old, who actually rushed for a season-high in yardage, but saw limited action as the Eagles ran the ball just 18 times. Philadelphia's propensity to fall behind has clearly limited Murray's involvement, as they have now run the ball 18 times or fewer in each of their three losses. Another week removed from his hamstring injury and with the struggling Saints coming to town, Week 5 presents Murray with a chance to make his first real fantasy impact of the season.
Sun Oct 4 201511:31DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) Active Sunday
Murray (hamstring) is active Sunday against Washington, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Murray was listed as questionable to play despite practicing fully Thursday and Friday. He was unable to play last week due to the ailment, and with Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles both playing well in Murray's absence, it's possible the latter could get limited touches Sunday against a strong Redskins defense.
Sun Oct 4 201508:31DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) Expected to be active Sunday
Murray is expected to be active Sunday against Washington, though he will test out his hamstring during pre-game warmups before a decision is made, according to Albert Breer of NFL Network.
Murray was able to practice fully Thursday and Friday, so it was a bit surprising that he was officially listed as questionable. Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles both played very well against the Jets last Sunday, so even if Murray plays, he could lose snaps to the other two backs. Washington has also been excellent against the run, allowing just 75 rushing yards per game through three weeks, another knock on Murray's fantasy upside Sunday.
Fri Oct 2 201515:43DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) Listed As Questionable
Murray is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Washington.
Despite logging full practices Thursday and Friday, Murray didn't earn the probable designation. He still seems more likely to play than not, but owners will want to keep a close eye on the situation, after Murray was surprisingly inactive in Week 3. If Murray misses another game, Ryan Mathews will get most of the carries, with Darren Sproles potentially also taking on a significantly larger role.
Thu Oct 1 201515:52DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) Full practice Thursday
Murray (hamstring) practiced in full Thursday.
In line to play in Week 3, Murray was eventually ruled out, so owners shouldn't stop monitoring his status in advance of Sunday's game at Washington. On the other side of the coin, a full practice is encouraging for his prospects and could indicate a return to the top of the RB pecking order, though the performances of Ryan Mathews (24 carries for 108 yards, two catches for 20 yards, and a receiving touchdown) and Darren Sproles (11 rushes for 17 yards, four receptions for 19 yards, and two total touchdowns) with Murray out of the picture speak for themselves.
Wed Sep 30 201515:04DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) Limited Wednesday
Murray (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.
After tweaking his hamstring in practice last Wednesday, Murray built up to a full showing by the end of the week but was held out of Sunday's win at the Jets. If he follows a similar schedule this week, minus the setback, he'll be on pace to return Sunday in Washington, but his workload alongside Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles could cap Murray's potential to produce.
Wed Sep 30 201511:42Murray (hamstring) participated in Wednesday's practice
Murray (hamstring) participated in Wednesday's practice, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
It won't be clear until after Wednesday's practice how much he was able to do, but he was on the field with his helmet, which are both good signs for those hoping he will be able to return to action in Week 4.
Tue Sep 29 201513:02DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) Practices Tuesday
Murray (hamstring) took part in Tuesday's practice, Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
It's not clear how much work Murray was able to get in Tuesday, but it's a positive sign that he was back on the field after sitting out Sunday against the Jets. Murray's status for Week 4 will not be determined until later this week, but with him suiting up Tuesday, fantasy players have reason for optimism.
Sun Sep 27 201511:28DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) Inactive Sunday
Murray (hamstring) is inactive Sunday against the Jets, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.
Murray was expected to play Sunday, despite being listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, but he apparently was unable to do enough in warmups to warrant giving it a go. Ryan Mathews will start in his place, with Darren Sproles also getting an increase in snaps, though the Jets' run defense is one of the better units in the NFL.
Sun Sep 27 201511:19Murray (hamstring) not expected to play Sunday against Jets
Murray (hamstring) is not expected to play Sunday against the Jets, according to Howard Eskin of Fox 29 in Philadelphia.
Murray was questionable coming into Sunday and was expected to play through the ailment, but he apparently didn't look good in warmups and could sit, leaving Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles to try to fight through the Jets' very good run defense.
Sun Sep 27 201508:26Murray (hamstring) expected to play Sunday against Jets
Murray (hamstring) is expected to play Sunday against the Jets, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Murray is officially listed as questionable for the game after missing practice Thursday, and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport notes that Murray's playing time will not be changed due to the ailment. Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles are also expected to get touches, and the Jets' defense has been excellent so far this season, so a huge breakout for Murray is a tough expectation.
Fri Sep 25 201514:01DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) Listed As Questionable
Murray (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Despite missing Thursday's practice, Murray is expected to play, after logging a full session Friday. He's off to a slow start and draws a difficult matchup, but the Eagles should eventually get some traction on the ground.
Fri Sep 25 201509:31DeMarco Murray: Expected To Play Sunday
Murray (hamstring) is expected to play Sunday, ESPN reports.
Despite missing practice Thursday it appears Murray will still be able to suit up for Sunday's game against the Jets. The Eagles will provide an official update on Murray's status when they release their injury report Friday afternoon, but fantasy owners should be optimistic about Murray being available in Week 3.
Thu Sep 24 201515:43DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) Doesn't Practice Thursday
Murray (hamstring) didn't participate in practice Thursday.
Murray suffered a tweaked hamstring in Wednesday's practice, according to head coach Chip Kelly, who stated Thursday that the running back remains under evaluation by the Eagles. With a cloud hanging over Murray's availability, Ryan Mathews is available to head the backfield in case the worst comes to pass, but Friday's injury report could provide insight into the eventual breakdown of snaps among the Eagles' running backs.

The Eagles continue to evaluate Murray's hamstring injury as of Thursday morning.
Head coach Chip Kelly has termed the ailment as a tweak but is unsure if Murray will be able to take the field Sunday against the Jets at New York. An appearance at practice before week's end would be an encouraging sign, as well as receiving questionable or better status on Friday's injury report, but Kelly also mentioned that the Eagles' game plan won't change if Murray sits out due to Ryan Mathews' presence in the backfield.
Wed Sep 23 201516:10DeMarco Murray: (Hamstring) MRI On Tap
Murray is scheduled for an MRI on his injured hamstring, ESPN reports.
Murray's first season in Philadelphia has reached a new low with news that he sustained a hamstring injury at Wednesday's practice. Once the results are in, the diagnosis will infer how much time, if any, he'll miss as a result of the ailment. If he requires some time to heal, Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles would likely form a more traditional backfield tandem.
Wed Sep 23 201513:46DeMarco Murray: Injures Hamstring Wednesday
Murray suffered a hamstring injury at Wednesday's practice, Bob Brookover of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Murray's transition from Dallas to Philadelphia hasn't yielded the expected results, to say the least, as he ranks 94th in the league after two games with 11 rushing yards. His production through the air has provided some solace -- nine catches (on 10 targets) for 64 yards -- and he's reached the end zone twice. However, he's been tripped up again with the current ailment, which is of unknown severity. Expect head coach Chip Kelly to provide some insight into Murray's injury upon the completion of drills.

Murray had 13 carries for just two yards and caught all five of his targets for 53 yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to Dallas.
After struggling to get anything going on the ground in Week 1, Murray once again had no room to run. He has been heavily involved as a receiver through two games (nine receptions on 10 targets for 64 yards and a touchdown), but that's not necessarily what fantasy owners expected. It looked like he scored a garbage touchdown late in the game, but it was called back due to a holding penalty. He was visibly emotional the entire game, facing his former team, and jumped over a defender on a reception at one point in the second half. The veteran RB and the entire running game will look to get on track in Week 3 against the Jets.

Murray took eight carries for nine yards and a touchdown, and caught four passes (on five targets) for 11 yards and another touchdown during Monday night's game against the Falcons.
Murray's total of only eight carries led the Eagles on Monday, but is still an alarmingly low mark considering the workload he enjoyed last season. While the Eagles' gameplan will certainly vary in future games, Murray's fantasy owners should rightfully be surprised by his mere nine rushing yards. Thankfully, Murray compensated by scoring a pair of close-range touchdowns, salvaging what would otherwise be an unimpressive season-opening performance.
