Watt was waived by the Warriors following Friday night's preseason finale.

If Watt clears waivers, there will likely be a spot for him on Golden State's D-League affiliate in Santa Cruz.

Watt signed with Golden State, CSN Bay Area reports.

Watt, 24, played the last two seasons in Israel, averaging 13.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 blocks in 34 games last season. He was a four-year collegiate at the University of Buffalo. He'll give the Warriors some front-line depth during the preseason, but is not expected to stick with the team.
