Inglett turned in a disappointing .254/.331/.401 batting line, one home run and eight RBI over 142 at-bats in 2010. He's 32 years old, not very talented, and will probably have to settle for a minor league deal.
Wed Nov 24 201013:58Inglett likely done in Milwaukee?
Brewers MLB.com beat writer Adam McCalvy thinks the signing of Brandon Boggs might spell the end of Joe Inglett's tenure in Milwaukee.
Well, it's not exactly Jeter-leaving-the-Yankees news. Inglett, who is arbitration-eligible, was a valuable pinch-hitter for the Brew Crew in 2010, picking up 20 hits in 68 at-bats for a .294 average. He's capable of playing every position but first base, catcher and pitcher, so some team in need of a utlilityman will give him a shot.
