The invite to attend major league spring training seems like simply a courtesy, as Farris is a .272/.316/.355 career hitter at the Triple-A level and isn't likely to reach the majors next season. While he still has some speed, Farris hasn't played shortstop since joining the Twins organization in 2013 and the team already has several options in center. | ||||||
