While his numbers in the D-League are good, Bhullar was a liability on defense and was simply too slow for the NBA game. Most likely, Bhullar will get a training camp invite, but that does not necessarily mean that he will be signed for this season.

Bhullar has lost 23 pounds since the end of the season, the Sacramento Bee reports.

Bhullar was listed at 7-foot-5 and 360 pounds last year. He's still a free agent, but will participate in at least one summer league game for the Kings. He played three games last season before his 10-day contract expired in early April, and an extended stay in the D-League is a likely scenario for the large Canadian.

Bhullar's most interesting asset is undoubtedly his size, standing at 7-5, 360 pounds. Although he's still a ways away from being a viable option in the NBA as he'll likely head back down to the Reno Bighorns of the D-League to conclude the regular season. The rookie from New Mexico State should hang around the league for at least a few more years because of his size but he's not currently an option worth exploring for fantasy purposes at this stage in his development.
