Roberts, Jr. signed a multi-year deal with the Raptors on Tuesday.

Roberts impressed as a member of the Raptors' Las Vegas Summer League team, so much so that the club will bring him in on a multi-year NBA deal. The terms of the contract have not been released, but it's likely only partially guaranteed.

Roberts, Jr. was waived by the Sixers on Sunday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

After his call-up late in the week, Roberts, Jr. was available but didn't play Friday and Saturday. As a corresponding move, the Sixers have tabbed Furkan Aldemir to populate the end of the bench.

Roberts, Jr. is expected to be waived by the Sixers, Sportando reports.

Roberts, who was waived by Philadelphia prior to the start of the regular season, was called up Friday but did not appear in either of the team's games over the weekend.

Roberts was called up by the Sixers on Friday and will be available for the game against the Nets, director of public relations Michael Preston reports.

In order to make room for Roberts, Jorge Gutierrez was succinctly waived Friday. Roberts isn't expected to have a significant role on the Sixers during his time with the team, although their rotation has been somewhat of an open door this season so it's certainly possible that he could see time on the court.

Roberts, Jr. announced on Twitter that he has been waived by the Sixers.

A quad injury hurt Roberts' bid for a roster spot, as he was able to play just 23 minutes during the preseason. The 6-foot-8 center could be forced to head to the D-League, though he may receive some offers to play overseas.

Roberts, Jr. played nine minutes in Thursday's game against Detroit.

Roberts, Jr. has been dealing with a quad issue, but considering he's been able to play in the Sixers' last few preseason games, it shouldn't be much of an issue going forward. He should offer power forward depth if he makes the opening-day roster.

It's unclear if he'll be available for Tuesday's exhibition, and he should be considered day-to-day for now.

The undrafted free agent out of nearby St. Joseph's University impressed at the Orlando Summer League, averaging 10.2 points and 7.4 rebounds. As a senior last season, the big man put up 14.4 points and 7.4 boards.
