Rudez is averaging 6.3 points on 54.5 percent shooting over three preseason games.

The 6-foot-10 forward has lived almost exclusively outside of the three-point arc, as just one of 11 shot attempts has been a two-pointer. In his rookie season as a member of the Pacers, Rudez didn't show many skills aside from the ability to knock down shots from deep, but he's still a nice luxury piece to bring off the bench. There's a good chance he'll be able to win a roster spot for the Timberwolves, though his minutes count will likely remain quite light.

Rudez will be traded to the Timberwolves in exchange for Chase Budinger, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Rudez is coming off a rookie season with Indiana where he averaged 15 minutes off the bench over the course of 68 games. The 28-year-old will likely have a similar role in Minnesota as he competes for reserve playing time with Anthony Bennett, Adreian Payne, and Nemanja Bjelica.

Rudez averaged 4.8 points (45% FG, 41% 3 PT, 70% FT), 1.0 three-pointer, 0.8 assists, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.2 steals in 15 minutes per game for 68 regular season games in his rookie campaign in 2014-15.

Rudez played in the Spanish League prior to being signed by the Pacers in 2014. At 6'10, he is a terrific three-point shooter but unspectacular at rebounding. The 28-year-old forward played sparingly off the bench for the 2014-15 season, and his production wasn't enough to warrant serious consideration for fantasy usage. Rudez doesn't figure to have a much larger role in 2015-16.

Rudez was held scoreless in 13 minutes off the bench Thursday against the Bucks

Rudez posted a strong game on Tuesday while being inserted in the starting lineup for C.J Miles (foot). With Miles returning to action on Thursday, Rudez returned to the bench and picked up four quick fouls which limited his production. Rudez still has a place in the rotation, but his value is solely based off his three-point shooting. 2.5 of his 4.0 shot attempts per game are three-pointers, and he is shooting them at a strong 38.8% clip.

Rudez scored 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt) and dished out five assists in 27 minutes against the Magic on Tuesday.

Rudez got the start in place on injured teammate C.J. Miles (foot). While the Yugoslavian may hold onto the starting role after Miles returns, he likely will not play enough minutes to continue the level of production he posted Tuesday night.

Rudez will be making his second career start Tuesday after C.J Miles has been scratched with a foot injury. In his other start, Rudez managed just three points over 14 minutes.

It's still unclear if this will be a permanent move, but Rudez has the upper hand over usual starter C.J. Miles at the moment.

The first year forward scored quickly and efficiently on Friday. Is this a sign of things to come? Possibly, but he needs more than 15 minutes a night to produce anything but modest scoring numbers - 15 minutes simply isn't enough time to contribute elsewhere.

Rudez recorded 11 points (3-4 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) in 20 minutes during the Pacers' 97-89 loss versus the Grizzlies on Friday.

After struggling mightily with his shot during the preseason and then going 0-2 in his NBA debut, Rudez got hot on Friday from deep and made the most of his extended playing time. He's unlikely to be much of a factor in fantasy during his rookie year, but when he does get time he doesn't seem shy about letting it fly from deep.

Rudez is just 5-for-25 from beyond the arc over his first six preseason games.

Rudez improved the effort a bit by going 2-for-6 from the three-point line in Tuesday's exhibition contest against the Timberwolves, but has overall been disappointing thus far. After making 43 percent of his three-point attempts during his time in the Spanish league, Rudez had been deemed "one of the best shooters in Europe," though this has yet to translate to the NBA game. The Pacers brought him in on a three-year deal to help alleviate their outside shooting concerns from last year, but if he's unable to get it going soon, it may be tough for head coach Frank Vogel to find him minutes once the regular season arrives.

The Pacers officially signed rookie SF Damjan Rudez on Friday.

"Rudez is one of the best shooters in Europe," said Pacers president Larry Bird. "We've got to figure out how to get him in the mix." Rudez may emerge as a 3-point specialist but he faces steep competition for playing time from C.J. Miles, Solomon Hill and Chris Copeland.
