Sun Apr 28 201313:24Joel Przybilla thinks he can play next season
Joel Przybilla believes he can be effective next season.
Przybilla played a grand total of 68 minutes this season and it's no guarantee there will even be a market for him in the offseason.

Sun Dec 16 201220:24Przybilla suspended one game by NBA
The NBA has suspended Joel Przybilla for one game after he threw a ball and hit a referee during Saturday's game.
Przybilla tossed the ball rather benignly, but the ref wasn't looking in his direction and there was likely some preexisting tension that led to a technical foul and ultimately this suspension. He's barely been playing this year, so his absence on Tuesday will have no impact in fantasy leagues.

Sat Nov 24 201223:59Joel Przybilla scoreless in surprise start
Joel Przybilla was scoreless with two rebounds and zero blocks in a surprise start on Saturday.
The Vanilla Gorilla played 17 minutes in his fourth appearance of the season, and there's no way he'll be worth owning in fantasy leagues, even if he somehow continues to start ahead of Samuel Dalembert.

Sat Nov 24 201220:23Przybilla replaces Sammy D as starting center
Joel Przybilla will start at center for the Bucks on Saturday, replacing Samuel Dalembert.
We don't try to figure out what Scott Skiles is doing most nights, but there's no way Przybilla will have fantasy value regardless of this apparent promotion. Check back later to see how he fares.

Sun Nov 4 201200:01Przybilla scoreless in Bucks' debut on Sat.
Joel Przybilla made his Bucks debut on Saturday, going scoreless with two rebounds in six minutes.
Przybilla will pick up a DNP-CD more often than not, and he isn't a fantasy option.

Tue Aug 14 201218:39Przybilla willing to accept any role, DNPs
Joel Przybilla is willing to accept whatever role the Bucks give him next season, even if it means picking up DNP-CDs.
"If I don't play for three, four games ... whatever the coach asks of me I'm going to be ready," said Przybilla. The classy veteran knows his role -- to rebound, defend, and give the Bucks a big, physical presence off the bench. Between his limited role and the threat of DNPs, he's not a viable fantasy option.

Thu Aug 9 201214:00Bucks officially sign C Joel Przybilla
Bucks sign C Joel Przybilla.
Przybilla will earn $1.35 million on his one-year deal and serve as a backup behind Samuel Dalembert. The best case scenario for Przybilla, if he's able to stay healthy, is to play 10-15 minutes per game and serve as a defensive enforcer inside. He'll offer no fantasy value.

Mon Aug 6 201222:23Przybilla verbally agrees to sign with Bucks
Joel Przybilla verbally agreed to sign with the Bucks on Monday.
Przybilla chose the Bucks over the Mavs and Blazers, which probably means they offered a little bit more. If his knees were able to survive more than 15 mpg this season it would be considered a win.

Fri Aug 3 201214:12Source: Przybilla to decide by Friday evening
A source close to the situation says unrestricted free agent center Joel Przyzbilla will likely decide which team to sign with by Friday evening.
The Bucks are out in front right now, with the Blazers and Mavericks also in the running for the free agent big man. Przybilla averaged just 2.0 ppg and 5.1 rpg last season in 27 games, so no matter where he lands, it will be in a backup role and with no fantasy value.

Fri Aug 3 201209:30Report: Bucks front-runner for Przybilla
The Bucks are "clearly the front-runners" for unrestricted FA Joel Przybilla.
The demand for Przybilla is getting a tad strange at this point, but it speaks to the lack of quality free agent centers on the open market. The veteran averaged just 2.0 points and 5.1 rebounds over 27 games, but the Bucks could certainly add a backup with size behind newly-acquired starting center Samuel Dalembert. The Mavericks and Blazers have also shown interest in Przybilla.

Wed Aug 1 201207:48Blazers, Bucks remain in play for Przybilla
Unrestricted FA Joel Przybilla met with the Bucks on Tuesday, but the Trail Blazers are "still in play."
Przybilla has been drawing interest from the Bucks, Trail Blazers and Mavericks, and he's expected to choose one of those three teams for next season. For what it's worth, Przybilla's agent said that the meeting with the Bucks "went well," and the team had expressed interest in him last season prior to Przybilla signing with Portland.

Sun Jul 29 201210:27Bucks 'front-runners' to sign Joel Przybilla
Free agent Joel Przybilla is expected to meet next week with Bucks GM John Hammond and coach Scott Skiles, and the Bucks are the "front-runners" to sign him.
Milwaukee currently has Drew Gooden, Larry Sanders and Ekpe Udoh capable of backing up Samuel Dalembert, but wants to add another big, physical defensive presence. The Bulls and Mavericks are also pursuing Przybilla -- each team can offer him a backup center job, though Chicago's addition of Nazr Mohammed could take them out of the running.

Mon Jul 23 201215:52Pryzbilla pursued by Bucks, Blazers & Mavs
Joel Przybilla is drawing the most interest from the Trail Blazers, Mavericks and Bucks, according to his agent.
Przybilla and his family are comfortable in Portland, but he'd probably have a bigger role if he signed with Milwaukee or Dallas. He's a rock-bottom blocks specialist, no matter where he lands.

Mon Jul 23 201213:18Report: Bucks, Przybilla have mutual interest
The Bucks and Joel Przybilla have "mutual interest" in each other, according to beat writer Gery Woelfel.
Przybilla and the Bucks did this same dance before the big man decided to come out of retirement and play for the Blazers during the 2011-12 season, so this isn't a surprise. If Milwaukee does sign Przybilla, he'll be an insurance policy and not much more than that, which says all that it needs to about his chance at fantasy relevance.

Sun Jul 1 201210:30Mavs interested in Przybilla, Thabeet
The Mavericks are reportedly interested in free agent centers Joel Przybilla and Hasheem Thabeet.
The Mavs would happily amnesty Brendan Haywood to clear cap space for Deron Williams, but either way they'll need another center on the roster. Przybilla has stated his willingness to return with the Blazers, but so far they haven't contacted him.

Thu Apr 26 201219:10Przybilla (bronchitis) will play on Friday
Joel Przybilla (bronchitis) will play on Friday against the Jazz.
Early word is that he will start, but it really doesn't matter. His 10-15 minutes, if that, will come out of Hasheem Thabeet's bucket, so downgrade Thabeet a bit if you were trolling for blocks.

Mon Apr 23 201219:13Przybilla likely out on Monday (bronchitis)
Joel Przybilla is in street clothes an hour or so before tip-off and is likely out for Monday's game due to bronchitis.
Przybilla is being seen by doctor's right now, and his absence will free up a few minutes for the Blazers' frontcourt rotation and that is it. Hasheem Thabeet is likely to start in his place, and is not a very good fantasy option.

Wed Apr 18 201220:47Joel Przybilla out on Wednesday
Joel Przybilla won't play on Wednesday due to an ankle injury.
Hasheem Thabeet or Kurt Thomas will start in his place.

Wed Apr 18 201214:20Przybilla (knee) questionable on Wed.
If Joel Przybilla (knee) can't play on Wednesday, the Blazers will start Hasheem Thabeet or Kurt Thomas.
This isn't a revelation and we're assuming the Blazers would lean toward Thabeet, as they have far more incentive to air out the young center. It sounds as though Przybilla is a game-time decision.
