According to Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish, lefty Zach Braddock is working out for the Dodgers on Monday.
Braddock was released by the Padres at the end of spring training after failing to impress in camp. The 26-year-old southpaw owns a 4.41 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in 51 career major league innings, and he hasn't made an appearance in a major league game since 2011.

The 26-year-old southpaw appeared in 71 games during the 2010-2011 seasons with the Brewers but hasn't made it back to the show since. He finished the 2013 campaign with Lancaster in the Independent Atlantic League, where he posted a troublesome 12.71 ERA, 2.47 WHIP and 8/8 K/BB ratio in 5 2/3 innings. He's merely organizational fodder for the time being.

Zach Braddock said Monday that he looks forward to competing for a bullpen spot after dealing with a sleep disorder and personal issues last year.
Braddock had a 7.27 ERA and an 18/11 K/BB ratio over 17 1/3 innings last season and didn't throw another pitch after being placed on the inactive list in July. "I feel great," said Braddock. "I just had to take some time and address things. I went to Triple-A for a little bit, then I did shut it down and concentrated on some personal things." Braddock had a 2.94 ERA over 46 relief appearances during his rookie campaign in 2010, but he would likely need a very strong spring to win a spot on the Opening Day roster.

The 23-year-old left-hander has pitched well for the Brewers this season, posting a 2.19 ERA and 13/6 K/BB ratio over 12 1/3 innings. He could be especially useful against the Yankees this week.

Brewers manager Ron Roenicke confirmed that Zach Braddock is still dealing with his sleeping disorder, which is why he was optioned to Triple-A Thursday.
"Zach is a good guy and works hard; he's trying to manage this stuff," Roenicke said. "We need him to go somewhere where he can just get everything right. Once he gets everything right, he was throwing the ball good, and we'd like to see him back here." There's no timetable for the lefty's return. Daniel Ray Herrera, who replaced Braddock on the roster, served up a three-run homer to Kosuke Fukudome in his first appearance with the Brewers Thursday.

Zach Braddock (sleep disorder) struck out all three batters he faced Sunday during a minor league rehab appearance with Triple-A Nashville.
Braddock recently had a setback due to a cracked fingernail, but his rehab is officially back on track. He is scheduled to make back-to-back outings on Tuesday and Wednesday before being reevaluated. It's possible he could be back with the Brewers before the end of the week.
