David Riske has been impressive early on in Orioles camp.

Riske has made just 24 big league appearances the last two seasons due to injury, but he's thrown back-to-back terrific bullpen sessions. "I'm a little surprised he's as far along as he is," manager Buck Showalter said. The 34-year-old appears to be a very early favorite to land one of the final spots in the Orioles bullpen.

All five runs scored in one of the outings, so he's been pretty solid otherwise. He has a chance to contribute with the big club by mid-season.
