Burgos allowed one hit over seven scoreless innings in a game with High-A Brevard County on Tuesday.
Burgos is back in action after seeing his 2014 season cut short due to a shoulder injury. He is a long way from the majors, but he made six starts for the Brewers in 2013 and is still just 27 years old, so he will have a chance to get back to the bigs if he can stay healthy.
Fri Jan 30 201520:31Burgos signed minor league contract with Brewers
Burgos signed a minor league contract with the Brewers, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
Shoulder issues have derailed a once promising career, but Burgos will return to the Brewers and attempt to recoup some value after being released by the club in September. The 27-year-old right-hander was limited to just four starts last season, and given the shoulder issues, it wouldn't be all that surprising if he transitioned to the bullpen in 2015.

Burgos was released by the Brewers on Tuesday.
Burgos was named the Brewers' top minor league pitcher in 2012, but he has battled injuries since early in the 2013 campaign, and the Brewers ultimately decided to give him his release.

Brewers optioned RHP Hiram Burgos to Triple-A Nashville.
The 26-year-old hurler started six games for the Brewers in 2013, posting a 6.44 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 18/11 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings. He'll be an option anytime the Brewers need a spot starter, but holds little in the way of fantasy value.

Hiram Burgos had to leave Monday's start at Triple-A Nashville with right shoulder discomfort.
It's presumably an aggravation of an injury from earlier this season. There's no word on how long Burgos will be out, but obviously he's not an option for the Brewers for a while.

Sat Apr 20 201322:37Burgos goes five strong in MLB debut
Hiram Burgos held the Cubs to one earned run over five innings Saturday in the Brewers' 5-1 win.
It was the 25-year-old right-hander's major league debut and he looked pretty sharp against a light-hitting Cubs lineup. Burgos scattered five hits and allowed no walks, fanning one batter. He has really good minor league numbers and may be worth a flier in deep mixed leagues if the Brewers keep giving him starts.
