Arnett won't be allowed to pick up a baseball for a month and is likely to miss the first half of the 2011 season. A first-round selection in 2009, he has a 6.18 career ERA in the minor leagues and has a long way to go as a pitcher. He turned 23 years old in January. | ||||||

Ouch. Arnett, who was the No. 26 overall selection in 2009, has a 5.93 ERA over his first 26 professional appearances, dating back to last season. He is 0-7 with a 6.87 ERA over his first 12 starts this season. The 22-year-old was expected to move rather quickly in the system, so hopefully there's just something out of whack with his mechanics. | ||||||
