Moore caught six passes off of eight targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Arizona.
Moore collected his most targets, catches and yards since 2013 on Sunday. With tight end Eric Ebron out with a knee injury, Moore saw an uptick in production during Week 5 and could be primed for a repeat performance if Ebron is held out again Week 6 given the Lions' dependency on passing the ball.
Tue Aug 25 201521:33Moore has impressed with ability to get open during camp
Moore has impressed with his ability to get open during camp, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Lost in Greg Salas' breakout performance in the Lions' preseason opener and the solid showings of Jeremy Ross and Ryan Broyles in the second game has been Moore. Moore caught just two passes for 19 years in the Lions' first preseason game and missed the second to attend the birth of his first child, but his presence on the team could be invaluable. Moore is very familiar with offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi's offense as they both spent several years in New Orleans. In fact, Moore has become a coach on the field, helping fellow receivers with the intricacies of the offense. Those leadership abilities, along with savvy route running, could become a major factor once Detroit's front office begins deciding which receivers to keep and which to cast off.
Tue May 12 201513:26Lance Moore: Signs With Lions
Moore signed a one-year deal with the Lions on Tuesday, MLive.com's Kyle Meinke reports.
Moore will likely have to compete for a roster spot, after catching just 14-of-27 targets for the Steelers in 2014. He'll turn 32 in August, but he does have the Lions' lack of depth at his position working in his favor.
Mon Mar 2 201516:12Lance Moore: Released By Steelers
Moore was released by the Steelers on Monday, Mark Kaboly of the Pittsbrugh Tribune-Review reports.
Moore dealt with a groin injury early in the season, and he never established any kind of consistent role in the Pittsburgh offense. Now heading into his age-32 campaign, the former Saint may need to compete for a roster spot wherever he lands, despite being just three years removed from a 1,000-yard season. New Orleans would be a logical landing spot, but even in that scenario, Moore probably wouldn't have a big role in the offense.
Wed Feb 4 201512:11Moore has requested release from Pittsburgh
Moore has requested his release from Pittsburgh, according to ESPN.com reporter Adam Schefter.
Moore, 32, caught just 14 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns in his first season with the Steelers. He has one year remaining on his contract, but releasing him would clear over $1 million in cap space.
Sat Jan 3 201518:59Moore inactive for Saturday's game against Baltimore
Moore is inactive for Saturday's game against Baltimore, Baltimore Sun writer Jeff Zrebiec reports.
Moore's inactive status is a bit surprising at a glance, but he's been reduced to a non-factor in the Pittsburgh offense and doesn't offer special teams utility.

Moore had no receptions, playing just 12 offensive snaps, in Pittsburgh's 27-17 win over Cincinnati on Sunday night.
Moore finished the season with 14 receptions for 198 yards and two touchdowns. He has one year remaining on his contract, but is not guaranteed to return for Pittsburgh next season.

Moore was targeted twice, catching both passes for 12 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers' 30-23 win against Houston on Monday night.
His score came on a trick pass play from fellow receiver Antonio Brown, giving Moore a touchdown reception for the second straight game. His current fantasy value is touchdown dependent, making him little more than a bye week replacement.

Moore had one reception for 26 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers' 31-10 loss to Cleveland on Sunday.
Trailing 21-3 forced Pittsburgh to throw the ball, with Moore being targeted six times, all in the second half of the game. The fact that he had just the one catch, albeit a touchdown, was disappointing and should serve as a reminder to fantasy owners that he has no business being in their lineup.

Moore caught one pass for 12 yards in Pittsburgh's 27-24 loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Moore finally has a reception in 2014, but is still buried on the depth chart. Even with Ben Roethlisberger distributing the ball to eight different receivers, Moore offers little to fantasy owners at the moment.
Mon Sep 22 201400:35Though he said after game that he healthy
Though he said after the game that he is healthy, Moore (groin) played just one offensive snap in Sunday night's 37-19 win over the Panthers, Mark Kaboly of the Pittsbrugh Tribune-Review reports.
Despite struggling in the first two games, Justin Brown surprisingly got the nod over Moore as the third receiver in three-wide formations. However, Brown may have left the door open by turning in another lackluster performance, as he caught just 2-of-4 targets for 10 yards. Even if he eventually usurps Brown, Moore will be the fourth or fifth receiving option in an offense that heavily relies on Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell.
Sun Sep 21 201419:08Moore (groin) active for Sunday's game against Panthers
Moore (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Panthers, ESPN's Scott Brown reports.
As expected, Moore will make his Steelers debut working as the No. 3 wide receiver. Even though Pittsburgh heavily relies on three-wide formations, Moore may have a hard time finding targets some weeks. He should represent an upgrade from Justin Brown, who struggled badly as the team's No. 3 wideout for the first two weeks of the season.
Thu Sep 18 201417:34Moore (groin) said he will play Sunday against Panthers
After logging a full practice Thursday, Moore (groin) said he will play Sunday against the Panthers, ESPN.com reports.
Moore is expected to make his season debut as the Steelers' No. 3 wide receiver, a role that Justin Brown struggled to fill for the first two weeks of the season. Jerricho Cotchery was surprisingly productive in said role last year, catching 46 balls for 602 yards and 10 touchdowns on 76 targets. With the Steelers typically favoring three-wide formations, Moore figures to see quite a bit of the field, though he's still an aging fourth or fifth option in an offense that wants to stay reasonable balanced.
Tue Sep 16 201413:13Moore (groin) full participant at Tuesday's practice
Moore (groin) was a full participant at Tuesday's practice, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Moore missed the Steelers' first two games due to a groin issue, but appears to be on track to make his team debut Sunday night versus the Panthers. Barring a setback, Moore could return to Pittsburgh's lineup as the team's No. 3 receiver, a position Justin Brown has occupied to date.
Wed Sep 10 201416:51Moore (groin) ruled out for Thursday's game against Ravens
Moore (groin) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Ravens, the Steelers' official site reports.
With Moore set to miss his second straight game on Thursday, look for Justin Brown to continue to see slot duties for the Steelers in Week 2.
Tue Sep 9 201418:43Moore (groin) didn't practice Tuesday
Moore (groin) didn't practice Tuesday.
After turning in a limited practice Monday, Moore was held out of the proceedings Tuesday in an attempt to aid his ailing groin. With the Steelers set to play on Thursday night this week, Moore might not have enough time to prove to the team's medical staff that he's fully healthy. If Moore is unavailable for a second straight week, look for Justin Brown and Darrius Heywward-Bey to pick up some reps in the receiving game in his stead.

Moore (groin) is considered questionable to play in Thursday's Week 2 game against the Ravens, ESPN.com reports.
Moore missed making his Steelers' debut Sunday due to a groin ailment and could sit out another contest given the short turnaround before Thursday's Week 2 game. While Moore's status will be updated in advance of kickoff, Justin Brown could be in line for increased involvement as Pittsburgh's No. 3 wideout.
Fri Sep 5 201415:38Moore (groin) ruled out for Sunday's game against Browns
Moore (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns, the Steelers' official site reports.
With fellow receiver Martavis Bryant doubtful for the contest, the Steelers' Week 1 wideout depth is a little taxed, with the report indicating that Justin Brown is likely to replace Moore on Sunday when the team rolls with three-receiver sets.
Thu Sep 4 201416:03Moore (groin) didn't practice Thursday
Moore (groin) didn't practice Thursday, according to Pittsburgh Tribune-Review writer Mark Kaboly.
Fellow wide receiver Martavis Bryant (shoulder) also skipped practice for the second straight day, leaving the Steelers thin for their Week 1 match-up against Cleveland. If either, or both, are unable to play Sunday, Justin Brown and Darrius Heyward-Bey could see an increase in targets.
Wed Sep 3 201419:02Moore (groin) didn't practice Wednesday
Moore (groin) didn't practice Wednesday, ESPN.com reports.
We'll track Moore's status as the week continues, but if he is unable to play Sunday against the Browns, Justin Brown would be a candidate to replace Moore as the Steelers' No. 3 wide receiver in Week 1.
