Mon May 8 202321:56JaMychal Green Heads To The Bench For Game 4
Golden State Warriors forward/center JaMychal Green won't start on Monday night. The 32-year-old started a few games during this series. He had 15 points in Game 2. However, Green finished with just two points in Game 3. Gary Payton II will enter the starting lineup, meaning Green will have almost no fantasy value.

Fri May 5 202309:17JaMychal Green Surprises In Win
Golden State Warriors forward JaMychal Green received the start ahead of Kevon Looney during Thursday's Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers. It was a bit surprising given how well Looney has been rebounding lately. However, the Warriors wanted to go with a different look and it worked on Thursday. Green finished with 15 points, two assists, and one rebound in 13 minutes of action. It sounds like Looney wasn't feeling 100 percent, so that's the main reason why Green moved into the starting unit. Although, it worked well, so possibly the Warriors continue to ride with Green as the starter going forward.

Wed Jan 4 202321:11JaMychal Green To Be Re-Evaluated In One Week
Golden State Warriors forward JaMychal Green (leg) has missed the last seven games due to multiple issues. At first, Green was sidelined due to the league's health and safety protocols. Now, Green is dealing with a leg infection that could cause him to miss more time. The organization announced that they plan to re-evaluate Green in one week. Normally, his absence wouldn't make a huge impact on the rotation. Although, the Warriors are shorthanded with Jonathan Kuminga and James Wiseman also sidelined. That being said, Anthony Lamb could have some deep league streaming appeal while the Warriors are banged up.

Fri Nov 18 202220:53JaMychal Green Questionable Friday
Golden State Warriors forward/center JaMychal Green (wrist) is a late addition to the injury report ahead of Friday's matchup against the Knicks. He is dealing with right wrist soreness and is considered questionable for the game. Green has been a solid backup player for the Warriors, averaging 4.8 points a night with 4.5 rebounds in 17 minutes. His absence will open up minutes for Anthony Lamb and Jonathan Kuminga. With the latter struggling for form this season, Lamb looks like the better option of the two, and he has been a nice addition to the rotation this month, averaging 9.8 points with 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals. He could really explode with bigger minutes, but only time will tell if the opportunity arises.

Tue Jul 19 202222:12JaMychal Green Agrees To Buyout
Oklahoma City Thunder forward JaMychal Green has agreed to a buyout with the organization. He was recently traded along with a draft pick from the Denver Nuggets to OKC in exchange for the 30th overall pick in this year's draft. Green didn't last too long in Oklahoma City as the team didn't believe he fit their current scheme. The organization looked for a trade partner, but couldn't find anyone to take Green. That being said, the two sides agreed on a buyout, so Green can join the Golden State Warriors. He's expected to play a reserve role off the bench in Golden State. The team is attempting to replace the production of Otto Porter Jr. who left in free agency. Last season, Green averaged 6.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in 16.2 minutes per game. It's unlikely that Green holds fantasy value in Golden State, assuming their starters stay relatively healthy.

Sat Jun 25 202219:28Thunder Likely To Trade JaMychal Green
Oklahoma City Thunder forward JaMychal Green is expected to be moved before the beginning of next season. The veteran forward was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Thunder on draft day. Thunder general manager Sam Presti mentioned that the Thunder are going to try and find a new team for Green. The 32-year-old is unlikely to have much of a role on the rebuilding Thunder roster. Regardless, Green isn't expected to have fantasy value on any team he lands.

Mon Jun 13 202218:12JaMychal Green Traded To OKC
The Nuggets have traded forward JaMychal Green and a protected 2027 first-round pick to the Thunder. In exchange, Denver will get the No. 30 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, along with two future second-round selections. Green, who averaged only 6.4 points and 4.2 rebounds last season, is expected to opt into his $8.2 million player option. OKC has space for that type of contract, so the Nuggets will get some much-needed wiggle room from a fiscal sense. Nonetheless, unless the 31-year-old receives a consistent role in the lineup for the Thunder, his fantasy outlook isn't too promising. However, Green may get a few starts here or there during the 2022-23 campaign and could receive interest as a streaming candidate as a result.

Tue Mar 22 202221:35JaMychal Green Receives Green Light To Play Tuesday
Denver Nuggets power forward/center JaMychal Green (hip) has been cleared to be active for Tuesday's game against the Clippers. Green has recently battled a left hip contusion, as his role in the Nuggets' offense has dwindled during March; over his last nine games, he has yet to exceed six field-goal attempts. With DeMarcus Cousins emerging among Denver's second unit, Green figures to primarily play a defensive role in the frontcourt, zapping most of his fantasy appeal.

Wed Mar 16 202218:50JaMychal Green In, Zeke Nnaji Out On Wednesday
The Denver Nuggets will have forward JaMychal Green (wrist) in their rotation for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards. Fellow forward Zeke Nnaji (knee), meanwhile, will be out for the game. Green logged 23 minutes in the team's last game on Monday. He scored 10 points and grabbed eight boards. Nnaji has only appeared in one game over the past month, but it sounds as if he's trending toward a return. He had been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game until about an hour before tip-off.

Tue Jan 25 202218:35JaMychal Green Active Tuesday, Unlikely To Enter Game
Denver Nuggets power forward JaMychal Green (conditioning) has been cleared to play in Tuesday's contest vs. the Pistons, but he is unlikely to take the floor as he works his way back from the league's health and safety protocols. Green last suited up Jan. 11, having delivered a rare scoreless performance during his seventh start of the year. With Jeff Green (quad) getting the green light to play, Aaron Gordon and Zeke Nnaji lose any added DFS appeal that may have been hovering with a JaMychal absence. Green has averaged just 14.9 minutes per outing this year, a total that is likely to keep him on the waiver wire in the vast majority of season-long formats.

Wed Dec 22 202119:28Aaron Gordon, JaMychal Green Good To Go Against Thunder
Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (hamstring) and forward/center JaMychal Green (ankle, knee) will be available Wednesday night against the Thunder. The latter returns from a three-game absence. Oklahoma City is a weak defensive team that also doesn't rebound the ball well, so Gordon finds himself in a good spot to perform. Green is logging backup minutes and doesn't really provide anything for fantasy managers as long as Nikola Jokic stays healthy.

Tue Dec 21 202120:32Aaron Gordon, JaMychal Green Questionable To Play Wednesday
Denver Nuggets small/power forward Aaron Gordon (hamstring) and power forward/center JaMychal Green (ankle) have been deemed questionable to suit up for Wednesday's game against Oklahoma City. Gordon has yet to miss a contest this season, while Green has been sidelined for the past three outings with a sprained right ankle. An absence from either member of the Denver frontcourt would pave the way for Jeff Green to play an even larger role on both ends of the floor, while Zeke Nnaji and Austin Rivers could snag additional minutes if Gordon is unavailable. The Thunder are yielding the fourth-most DFS points per game overall per contest this season, giving active members of the Nuggets with increased roles even greater upside.

Mon Dec 13 202119:32JaMychal Green Will Not Play Against Washington
Denver Nuggets forward/center JaMychal Green (ankle) has been ruled out Monday against the Washington Wizards per head coach Michael Malone. Green suffered an ankle sprain on Saturday against the Spurs and was doubtful to play. Green's been the backup big behind Nikola Jokic so they will likely rely more on Jeff Green and Zeke Nnaji. Coach Malone noted the injury for Green could be "pretty serious" so it looks like his status will be doubtful moving forward.

Mon Nov 29 202118:48JaMychal Green Will Miss Monday’s Contest
Denver Nuggets power forward/center JaMychal Green (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Miami due to a sprained left elbow. Green's absence will be his first of the year, although the Nuggets will have a sound contingency plan to start in his place: the returning Nikola Jokic. Green figures to shift to the second unit when healthy with Jokic back in the mix, which heavily caps the veteran's DFS appeal; when coming off the bench, Green has averaged just 13 minutes per outing, nowhere near enough to be rostered in season-long formats. His next chance to take the floor comes Wednesday vs. the Magic.

Sun Nov 21 202120:13JaMychal Green Starting At Center On Sunday
Denver Nuggets center JaMychal Green will move into the starting five for Sunday's game against the Phoenix Suns. The Nuggets are without Nikola Jokic (wrist) for at least one more game. They started Jeff Green at center during their last contest, but decided to shake it up. Neither player is much of a streaming option for Sunday. Will Barton and Aaron Gordon are the main players who benefit without Jokic on the court.

Wed Nov 10 202120:41Jeff Green, JaMychal Green Both Draw Starts Wednesday
Denver Nuggets power forward/centers Jeff Green and JaMychal Green have both slid into the starting five for Wednesday's contest against the Pacers. With Nikola Jokic (suspension) and Michael Porter Jr. (back) unavailable, Aaron Gordon will slide up to the wing to open the game, allowing the veteran Green's to roam the frontcourt. Both will be solid DFS selections, as they figure to see extended minutes as the team's de facto center without Jokic available. With no further ramifications anticipated for the league's reigning MVP, both Jeff and JaMychal will likely see a downturn in fantasy appeal Friday vs. Atlanta.

DALLAS (AP) — Michael Porter Jr. tied his season high with 30 points and the Denver Nuggets overcame Jamal Murray's ejection for a shot to the groin of Dallas guard Tim Hardaway Jr. to beat the Mavericks 117-113 on Monday night. Denver was setting up on offense early in the second half when Murray stumbled backward after colliding with Hardaway. Murray got up and reached between Hardaway’s legs with his right arm, prompting Hardaway to double over. Fri Dec 4 202017:56Paul George: 'I want to retire a Clipper'
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Paul George grew up rooting for the Los Angeles Clippers and he loves playing close to home. He made it clear Friday where he sees his NBA future, saying, “I want to retire a Clipper.” “This is where my heart is and I’m happy,” he said. George’s first season back home ended in disappointment, with the Clippers blowing a 3-1 lead against Denver and losing in the second round of the playoffs. He averaged 21.5 points and 5.7 rebounds during the abbreviated season. George wasn’t able to train normally during the 2019 offseason or participate in his first training camp with the Clippers after shoulder surgeries. He missed the first 11 games of the season, too. “I’m my toughest critic,” he said. “I know what’s not good, what’s unacceptable. Last year was an unacceptable year for me. I know that.” George and teammate Kawhi Leonard can become free agents after the upcoming season. New Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said he expects both players to be with the team for a long time.... MILWAUKEE (AP) — Giannis Antetokounmpo had plenty of time to relax and enjoy his 25th birthday Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.Antetokounmpo had 27 points and 11 rebounds before exiting the game with 8:56 to play and his Milwaukee Bucks ahead by 36. The Bucks went on to win 119-91 and capture their 14th straight victory.“The fans were unbelievable tonight,” Antetokounmpo said. “They made me feel special. They made this day feel special. Usually a lot of people, their birthday, they celebrate, they go out, they do all that. But that's not me. That's not what I do. But the fans made it really special for me.”The reigning MVP made 11 of 20 shots and recorded his 21st double-double of the season.“It was Giannis' birthday and we searched all over the city to find a gift and we couldn't find one, so we gave him this one,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said. “That's all I can come up with because we were awful.”The Bucks led by as many as 41 and extended their longest winning streak...
