Banks, 29, was released by the Giants last month after posting 7.27 ERA and 50/22 K/BB ratio over 78 innings with Triple-A Fresno. The 2003 second-round pick made one start with the Astros last season and has a 5.66 ERA over 19 starts and eight relief appearances in the big leagues. | ||||||
