The Washington Wizards waived center Josh Harrellson, guards Jaron Johnson and Toure Murry, center Jaleel Roberts and guard Ish Smith on Saturday.Harrellson played in seven preseason games, recording 27 points and 12 rebounds over 51 minutes. Johnson appeared in six preseason games and totaled 12 points in 28 minutes. Murry appeared in four preseason games and tallied 14 points in 30 minutes.Roberts played in three preseason games and totaled 10 points and three rebounds in 21 minutes. Smith made five appearances in the preseason and tallied 11 points and 20 assists in 57 minutes.

Murry (groin) logged five minutes and connected on his lone field-goal attempts in Tuesday's exhibition win over the 76ers.

Murry was hampered by the groin injury in the Las Vegas Summer League, but it didn't prevent him from seeing the court in the Wizards' preseason opener. Though he's now healthy, Murry remains unlikely to win a roster spot in training camp, as he remains behind all of John Wall, Ramon Sessions, Gary Neal, and Garrett Temple on the Wizards' point-guard depth chart.

Murry (groin) will join the Wizards during training camp on a non-guaranteed deal, J. Michael of Comcast SportsNet reports.

Murry played with the Wizards' summer league squad, but he suffered a groin injury during practice and only competed in one contest. The Wizards already have 15 players on guaranteed deals, likely forcing Murry to catch on with another team, play in the D-League, or spend the season overseas.

Murry suffered a groin injury in practice before the Las Vegas Summer League and was only able to play in one game, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.

Murry is expected to be given an invite to the Wizards' training camp. He averaged 1.5 points, 0.5 three-pointers, 0.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists, and 0.3 steals in four minutes per game through three games with the Wizards last season. That production came on a 10-day contract, which was cut short when Murry sprained his left ankle in March. If Murry can get healthy, it is possible that the Wizards could sign him for guard depth.

Murry (ankle) will be released by the Wizards, the Washington Post reports.

During two 10-day contracts with the Wizards, Murry logged time in four of eight contests, averaging 1.5 points (on 50 percent shooting) in four minutes of action. However, after spraining his left ankle Monday, he was deemed expendable with Bradley Beal (ankle) also injured at the moment.

Murry (ankle) was still in a walking boot at Thursday's practice, J. Michael of CSN reports.

Murry suffered an injury against Golden State on Monday, and he sat out Wednesday's loss to the Pacers. The team hasn't provided much in the way of an update as to what injury he's dealing with, but considering he's still in a boot, it's probable safe to rule him out Friday when the Wizards host Charlotte.

Murry (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game, CSN Washington's J. Michael reports.

He suffered a left ankle injury in Monday's game and is still in a walking boot, so he should be considered out indefinitely.

Murry suffered a leg injury in Monday's game against the Warriors, The Washington Post reports.

The exact severity of Murry's injury is still unknown but he had to be helped off the court and the remainder of his second 10-day contract may be spent on the bench. Either way, he was seeing limited minutes with the Wizards and is better left on the waiver wire across all formats.

Murry got on the floor for nine minutes Sunday against Sacramento and contributed one rebound.

Murry just signed a second 10-day contract with Washington earlier on Sunday and saw some time on the floor after the game was all-but decided. He should continue to carry minimal value and only see the floor in blowout situations.

Murry made his first appearance with the Wizards on Thursday after signing a 10-day contract, only playing four minutes and scoring four points (1-1 FG, 2-2 FT) while picking up a steal.

Murry was signed from the D-League to provide some more depth at the wing for the Wizards, especially with Garrett Temple out indefinitely. Still, Murry probably won't see much playing time, as he's still behind Otto Porter Jr. and Rasual Butler on the depth chart.

During a cup of coffee with the Jazz this season, Murry took the court for one minute on Jan. 3. However, he's spent much of the season with Rio Grande Valley of the NBA's D-League, averaging 12.9 points (on 42 percent shooting), 6.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.7 three-pointers in 29 minutes across 23 games. Upon joining the Wizards, he'll provide depth at the point behind John Wall and Ramon Sessions.

Murry was picked up by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the D-League on Saturday, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Murry spent the beginning of the season with the Jazz but was waived in early January after appearing in only one game. Despite landing in the D-League, he's a great candidate for a future 10-day contract with an NBA team looking for guard depth.

Murry is heading back to the D-League, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.

The Knicks affiliate in Westchester is the favorite to land the rights to Murry, but he is still a call-up and a couple injuries away from being fantasy relevant.

Murry has officially been waived the Jazz.

Murry played in just one game for the Jazz this season and that stint on the court only lasted for one minute. He'll become a free agent and will be able to sign wherever he'd like, although he may have to go overseas or down to the D-League if he wants time on the court.

He did play several games in the D-League this season, but even amidst several backcourt injuries for Utah, the team did not use Murry in a single game. Several teams, including the Knicks are rumored to be interested in signing Murry, so expect him to catch on with another NBA team yet this year, though he still will likely not have fantasy value this season.

Murry has been recalled from the D-League and he will be in uniform for Saturday's game, Jazz announcer David Locke reports.

The Jazz are incredibly shorthanded in the backcourt, as Alec Burks, Rodney Hood and Patrick Christopher are all out Saturday. Murray will be behind the likes of Dante Exum and Joe Ingles on the depth chart, but he should still see some run off the bench until Hood is healthy enough to return to action next week.

Murry will be sent to the D-League, Jody Genessy of the Deseret News reports.

Even with the season ending shoulder injury to Alec Burks, Murry cannot get on the court in Utah. He will continue to get playing time in the D-League, but he still has not played a single minute in the NBA this year and has virtually no fantasy value this season.

Murry has yet to make an appearance on the court for the Jazz this season.

Murry has spent time in the D-League this season and seems to be on the outside looking in of coach Quin Snyder's rotation. With four point guards ahead of him on the depth chart (Trey Burke, Dante Exum, Alec Burks, and Ian Clark), it's unlikely that Murry will see much time on the court by the end his second year in the league.

Murry was recalled from the D-League on Tuesday, NBA.com reports.

Murry, who was assigned to the Idaho Stampede on Nov. 13, appeared in six games, averaging 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.3 steals in an average of 31.5 minutes. His best performance came against the D-Fenders on Nov. 22, when he put up 22 points and 10 rebounds one night after scoring 15 points to go with 10 assists. The 6-5 guard is yet to appear in a game for the Jazz this season and will be relegated to garbage time minutes, barring a few injuries to the Utah backcourt.
